Regretting Divorce

As they stole a glance from behind the wall, their faces went pale because a woman was pinning Hunter against the wall, trying to touch him desperately. Tbc...

Author says they’re not dragging the story…but he/she is. The whole Claire and Tyler marriage thing was unnecessary. I tried to give it some time and come back to see if it’s complete and it’s still going. I guess the story isn’t for me to finish…

This book is awesome, I am actually in love with the characters. I hope we will get the rest of the side characters stories soon and in some parts of Claire and Hunter's future too. Fingers crossed ..., still waiting ...!!

Secrets, Seduction, & Serenity

Secrets, Seduction, & Serenity

“You know, we would have armed you but we can’t. Before you enter the room of Mr. Carrington, you will be checked by the security team to ensure that you have no form of weapons.” “But how about the pin that you would give me, is it not a weapon they could detect?” I was intrigued. “It’s a special pin; very high-tech, so no, they won’t be able to detect it,” Maddie replied without lifting her attention from her laptop. She seemed to listening even though she was working on god knows what. “What she said,” The tux guy added, causing Jojo to chuckle. After an hour, I was dressed in black lingerie that showed off my body in ways that I never knew it could be shown. My breasts were lifted by it

Forced Marriage with the Mafia King

Forced Marriage with the Mafia King

I used his weight and momentum to slam his body against the wall, pinning him with a crushing force. “Don’t fucking touch my wife” I warn punching him directly on the nose. I hear a crack and blood trickled down the two passage way.

THE WIFE YOU LEFT

THE WIFE YOU LEFT

I released her with a shove, letting her head fall forward. To my right, the wall loomed like a silent sentinel, smooth and unassuming to the untrained eye. But I knew better. I crossed the room, pressing a palm against a brick near the corner. A soft click reverberated, followed by the low groan of stone sliding apart. The wall split slightly, revealing a hidden cache of tools meticulously arranged in rows.

The Price Of Her Mercy

The Price Of Her Mercy

"First and second floors clear." Jackson exhales slowly, like he’s preparation for whatever comes next. We return to the living room. Jerry is already opening the panels on the walls with two security techs. I stare as they pull out small, black camera pins. Embedded deep. Wired into the house's inner structure. Someone knew the architecture, and someone planned this, that same someone has lived in these walls longer than a single break-in could allow. "How many?" Jackson asks. His voice is deadly, A guard swallows.

Never Forgive You, My Ex-Husband

Never Forgive You, My Ex-Husband

My pulse ticks up. I scan the painting above the fireplace, some bold abstract he once called an “investment.” I call it a cover. I press my fingers against the gilded frame. Bottom corner—nick in the gold where metal once met metal. Hinge. I shift to the left edge. Cool steel beneath my fingertip. Pressure plate. A hum vibrates low in the wall. Below the hearth, a marble panel slips forward half an inch. Hello. I slip off a shoe, nudge the panel with my toes until it yawns open. Behind it: a safe. Black steel, modern keypad, small but deep.

Falling for my Vampire Captain

Falling for my Vampire Captain

I looked at the screen and then at the corridor beyond the door and then I was moving down the stairs and out the front entrance and along the path to the gate and through it without slowing, covering the distance with the full capability of what I was and not one fraction of it held back. The building entrance. The stairs. My floor. The door to my flat was closed. I pushed through it and went directly to the bedroom because the pin had been specific and the bedroom was where the pin had pointed. The floor beside the bed. Franklin’s phone. Face down on the boards, the screen dark, sitting in the gap between the bed frame and the wall where something could end up if it had been dropped or pla

Resold To The Ruthless Mafia Lord

Resold To The Ruthless Mafia Lord

We reached the bottom very quickly, and there was a large metal security door standing in front of us, with flickering fluorescent lights buzzing directly above it. A glowing digital side panel with a security pin pad rested against the concrete wall. "Do you know the pin?" I asked, watching her approach the panel. She nodded. "Yeah," she murmured. She tapped a swift set of numbers into the keypad. The heavy doors clicked and slid open instantly, and she walked right in. The inside was completely different from the barren concrete outside. It was a fully polished bar, boasting dark mahogany counters, amber ambient lighting, and shelves stocked with premium liquor.

The Billionaire's Little Thief

The Billionaire's Little Thief

The room was small with a cracked mirror hung above an old sink with one tiny window high on the wall. I looked up. It was large enough for someone to squeeze through If the metal frame came loose. Behind me, the guard spoke through the open doorway. “I'll be right here.” I closed the door behind me and I waited for a while before getting to work. Slowly, I reached into my hair and pulled out the small pin holding it in place. Please work... I slipped the pointed end into the first screw holding the window frame. It refused to move and I pressed harder which made the pin bent slightly.

The Devil's Nurse

The Devil's Nurse

I stopped her in the middle of one of my favorite places. The far corner of the room—low-lit, always kept immaculate—was where the velvet bled into steel. A deep gray panel of the wall had been subtly reinforced, smooth and cold to the touch. Above, a brushed black metal bar was secured horizontally across the width of the wall, nearly invisible unless you knew what to look for. From it hung a pair of soft cuffs—lined with plush leather, the color of storm clouds. A single matte chain linked each one to the bar, just long enough to let her shift and squirm, but never slip free.
