Piper Alpha Disaster Survivors Novels & Stories

A broken torch lay smoldering near the stairwell, and the marks of clawed feet led toward the council chamber. Mireya bent to examine them. “Ours,” she whispered. “They made it back.” “Some of them.” Kaelen’s tone was flat. He followed the trail into the main hall. The fire pit at the center had burned down to ash. Around it, a few survivors huddled—eyes hollow, faces gray with fatigue. When they saw him, they rose at once. “Alpha,” one murmured, voice trembling. “We thought you were dead.” Kaelen didn’t reply immediately. He looked over them—counting, measuring, noting the absences. Half the pack gone. The others barely standing.

A ripple moved through the crowd—surprise, maybe, at hearing their Alpha admit fault so plainly, without hedging. "Marcus Chen attacked this territory five days ago," Ryker continued. "You all know that. Many of you fought in that battle, and I owe every one of you a debt I can never fully repay for the courage you showed defending our home. What you may not know is what's happened since. Marcus was not captured that day. He escaped—into the trees, into the chaos of his own retreating army—and he has not been seen since." The murmur grew louder this time, threaded with the particular anxious energy I recognized from my own worst nights. I felt Ryker's grip tighten slightly around my hand, an

A month ago in New York, Piper was derailed after Sebastian’s refusal to let her parents see their daughter. She did not even know the girl’s name or where Rush’s father lived. The last time she met Sebastian’s father was at the hospital and she was too eager to return to Ezrah to care. Piper walked into a bar and began ordering drinks. By the time she was done, her legs felt like jelly, and she fell by the wayside before the cab she ordered could arrive.

Not triumphant. Not satisfied. Uneasy. My fingers tightened slightly around the glass. “Well?” I demanded. He hesitated. Then spoke. “Alpha Kharl… survived.” The words hit me like a slap. For a moment, I didn’t understand them. Survived? No. That wasn’t possible. I stood up abruptly, the chair scraping loudly against the floor. “What do you mean he survived?” I snapped. “The rogues failed,” he said quickly, avoiding my eyes. “They were intercepted. Some were captured.”

“But we need to check on Catriona.” We sprinted back to the house, where my men lined up the students, briefing them on pack rules. I gave the go-ahead nod and headed inside. I passed the dining room, which was in chaos. Upstairs, I heard a desperate whimper from Catriona’s room. “Someone help!” It was Pamela’s voice. I rushed to the door and opened it—then collapsed backwards in shock. “Mr. Alpha, please—my friend—she’s not breathing.”

“What else can I help you with, Alpha?” “I want to see the CCTV of the entire building. But only if you don’t mind.” Clearing her throat inwardly, “I fear this will be possible, Alpha.” Nodding my head, “I wasn't expecting an easy ‘yes’ from you. There are rules involved and both of us will have to break these rules.” “I’m sorry, Alpha. But I don't understand a thing.” Resting my elbow on her stone stand, “Piper is dead.” “Gasp!”

"Alpha?!" exclaimed a task force member, including Rafael, as Hunter and the Vice Admiral arrived at their headquarters. Everyone was visibly shocked and confused. Just last week, the Vice Admiral had informed them that their Alpha was KIA (Killed in Action). But now, standing before them was Alpha—unharmed and very much alive. Their shock was such that it was as if they'd seen a ghost. "You're alive?" Rafael asked in astonishment, staring at his friend in disbelief. Hunter responded with a restrained smile.

The sun slowly started coming up and the news of the Pakistan airport incident was still on TV and updates were being shared on the current situation. "Out of a total of 200 passengers who were onboard, only five survivors were found. These survivors have been sent to the hospital but they are said to be in a critical condition. The names of the survivors from the plane catching fire incident are; Aamilah Amin, James Walker, Christiana Robinson, Aamir Ali and the senator from California, Christian Thatcher," the reporter said. "I need to go to Pakistan and see my father," Amanda said to Marcus and he nodded finding his phone quickly.

We were going to meet them at the border to cloak Kendrick before bringing him onto the pack land, but Lottie has proven herself capable in so many ways and her ability to cloak herself will extend to those with her. The cabin is half exposed to the elements, a full side and corner have burned to the ground and there is a crater in the ground that you could stand a full grown man in. How the Alphas survived the explosion is a mystery to everyone, and every time I see the destruction left behind it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. If this attempt on their lives had been successful we would all be looking at a very different future. It doesn’t bare thinking about. “Are you okay

“It was great. Theo and I have been friends forever. We grew up together, I guess like how you and Mason did. But Theo was a reserved person. He’ll often be off alone studying or training. I was the social one getting him to come out of his shell. He’s better now. Our parents passing was recent.” “If you don’t mind me asking, what happened?” “We lost a lot of people at once. Both Mine and Theo’s parents were on their way to a meeting with the council when they got into a car crash.” “You lost your parents at the same time?” “Not quite. Alpha was the only one to survive. The driver of the other car swerved and hit the car head on.” He says. “I’m so sorry.” “After that I became Beta and I star
