His Midnight Luna

His Midnight Luna

I knew my father, he didn't do things without a reason so there had to be something that would cause him to want it. “Well, I found out something about her father. Something I'm sure her father doesn't know either. He's from a line of Rogues, wolves that were banished from the pack for treason. They left and wandered around lands, looking for a place to settle. Eventually, they settled far East which is where the Viking were said to have settled. Jayden's Luck

Jayden's Luck

It turned out to be Jodzio Two-Tooth. There were dozens of unaffiliated pirates in Black, men and women who prized their independence above all. Money talks, of course; so does not having to take shit from anyone. The Pirate Lords routinely canvassed these independents; it would have been remiss of them not to. Anyone who could recruit even a few independents could become a greater power in the city overnight. Jerian and Two-Tooth might be still in the polite stages. But one never knew ... Ledomir and Inavar might be interested in this little bit of information.

Destined By The Goddess

Destined By The Goddess

I am from the people of magicians, but I do not own magic. Mages? Deja looked at the girl again. No, she did not look like a resident of Sharaam. They were all fair-skinned. Except that her eyes are blue, like many magicians. But only. -Who was your father? the princess asked. “I don’t know madam,” Shali answered, bowing her head once more. “But I have seen pirates with skin that was darker than mine. They come from the southern seas. -Do pirates live on islands next to the cursed lands?

The Black Devil Omegaverse

The Black Devil Omegaverse

"It's a harbor we visit often, to the west. We get the gems from the pirates who frequent that harbor. Your friend has been sent there. He will arrive quickly because we used magick to hasten his journey." "Was that so hard?" Hades snarled as he regained his feet again. "So we are dealing with pirates, fantastic." Liam felt this was a frying pan to the fire situation. Not only were pirates real, but they were also wild cards they knew nothing about. "Jinx, did you have something you wanted to ask Ambrosia about?" "Yes, Ink. He used to be part of your show, but I guess he's gone now? Do you know where?" Jinx asked, his face hopeful.

Dragon-kissed

Dragon-kissed

This last piece of technology suggested a link between the pirates and Tamerlane’s research on the fifth element, but all of them pointed to the fact that the captain and his crew had had a great deal of experience holding Slayers against their will. Despite the rancor he harbored towards his eldest brother’s killers and their ilk, deep down Sasha was thrilled to be up close with real-life pirates. He was aboard a pirate ship, for crying out loud. He wasn’t very keen though on the idea of an Undine clansman, the captain of a ship no less, betraying the cause of the blue Slayer navy and sailing under a black flag. Undine Slayers considered it a great dishonor to become a pirate and assumed th

said one of the elders. I looked up at him, taking a deep breath. "I grew up without a pack. I joined a group of orphans when I was four or five years old, I can't remember the exact age. We were unattended, left to fend for ourselves. I stole to survive. I grew up to be a smuggler, a pirate. I was fortunate to even have that, if I'm being honest. The future prospects of those born on the Isles are dim if not nonexistent… because of a war none of us were old enough to witness." I squared my shoulders, straightening up to my full height.

I adore this series. I had the privilege to read it a couple years ago on a different platform. It’s incredibly detailed with mostly likeable characters. Plus you get to follow the journey as they grow and develop over several stories. It’s well worth the time invested!

The order of the book is a little confusing, started out with a story about Ethan and Rosalie and mid way through it's like the story has jumped back to were the beginning should be. I love the story but this kinda has me scratching my head .

Marina The Siren

Marina The Siren

Risks that only a reduced amount of sirens have lived in their flesh and have barely made it to escape from them. The main risk that laid beyond the surface of the ocean was the humans, who were the dominant species of the land. The humans were pretty different between each other, but probably the most important difference between them was the way they decided to live their lives: some people lived with honesty and humility, working hard to earn their daily sustenance and take care of their families of themselves. But then some people lived the opposite lifestyle, looking to abuse of those who lived by hard-working just to get an easy life. And the best example of these abusive people were t

Dark Water

"You ain't going to be able to keep the knowledge of sacrifices from him. Maybe not even the way I have to do them, but I don't want 'em seen. They tear me apart. Lord know what it'll do to him, even the strongest would faint at it." Their eyes met and Thomas nodded. All the old respect and loyalty he held for the captain flooding back, renewed and brighter. That smidgen of care, of consideration. The special secret that only he had been privy to. Most of the others were older seafarers, ex-officers who turned to piracy through lack of work. Others had joined to save their skins or avoid being marooned after The Black Hind had looted their ships and burned them, the flaming masts a beacon to

Strange short stories

They continued their piracy and made the Spanish pirate islands their home. The Red Captain continued as a notorious pirate who gave birth to a long tradition of the pirate family, The Ghost Pirates. They were called ghosts because in one of his forays, Red encountered a prominent mage who was making his journey to study the magic of the wild continent. He was a difficult opponent for the pirates, but as they were more, they ended up beating the peaceful travelers and the mage. Many pirates died that day, but the reward was invaluable. Red found a camouflage spell that once used the spell would be passed from parent to child. The spell was not yet complete and since Red had just slit the mag
