Place To Read Books Novels & Stories

I don't know if that's weird, I simply shrug it off and put on my clothes. Off to breakfast, eating alone in the big dining room is one of the boring conducts of the pack house. What boosts my energy are the books I read in the library, which might become the second place where I spend my time apart from my room. As I rummage the shelves to find some interesting book to occupy myself with, I hear the ruffling of papers in a closed door. Since I am not scared of mysteries, I go ahead to open the door and see what is going on.

I’m a huge book nerd and at the moment I’m in my classical era and currently reading Anna Karenina. One of my all-time favorites but it is an epic.

Ooo, it’s cute. I do a quick check of the apartment and am satisfied I am ready for Autumn to arrive. I have put some of her favorite books by the bed for her to read, although knowing my bestie, she will have at least six books with her plus her Kindle. Autumn reads as much as I do. Oris' POV Ah, the library. My sanctuary. My solitude. After today's events, I felt the need to spend some time in my favourite room in the house. Surrounded by books, this to me was absolute heaven. The scent of the leather bound literature, and the dust which gathered on them, to me this was my safe place. Pulling one of my favourite pieces of literature to study from the shelf, I placed it open on the desk and took a seat. I began to thumb through the pages slowly, taking in the information as I read.

Sidia attempted to shove down the bubbling desire in her chest. The temptation to give in to her circumstances made her ache as she looked over the massive collection of books. The room itself was impressive as well. Nooks carved into the walls overflowed with cushions, a soft light with no discernible source made reading pleasant, and old tables stocked with parchment and ink made excellent study desks. This place was any scholar's dream, and a lump formed in Sidia's throat. She was overcome with emotion, not just from the war inside her mind but also from the sheer wonder of such a place.

I set it face-down on the kitchen counter and tell myself I am not panicking. I find the library. It is a real one, with floor to ceiling shelves on three walls, a rolling ladder on a brass rail, two leather chairs angled toward each other near a window. The books are organized by subject. Law. Economics. History. A full shelf of philosophy. A smaller section at the end — fiction, which surprises me, though I cannot say why. I pull out one of the novels and read the first page standing up. I put it back. I cannot concentrate. My mind is too busy.

He didn't deflect the question back or give a quick answer to close it. "I want to walk somewhere," he said. "And I want to find somewhere to sit and read near you." "Near me." The car stopped in front of a large bookstore with a cafe in the corner. Gianna opened the door for me. I got out, looking at the building, looking at the people passing by. "Gianna." "Yes."
