Amazing, what is a better way to distract yourself than reading some dark romance books filled with smut. I got in the library and instantly felt a bit calm. Grabbing my favourite four books I got seated in a cosy comfortable corner, and started reading. An hour later I closed the fourth book in my hands as I groaned frustratingly. For god sake what's wrong with me? I couldn't even read a single book completely. I tried to read them for fifteen minutes and then put them aside while picking up another book. All of these books are my fucking comfort favourite books that I have re-read for so many times. The books whose MMC are my, to heart, book boyfriends.

But I found solace in the quiet corners of the library, where I could lose myself in novels and the endless sea of academic texts. I was always the quiet one, the girl who preferred the company of books over people. The library became my sanctuary, a place where I could escape the noise and chaos of campus life. It wasn’t that I disliked people; I just felt more comfortable in my own world, where stories came alive on the pages of my favorite books.

"Focus, now you're here for a reason." She made her way to the big bookshelf in the corner of the room where so many different kinds of books were carefully arranged. Some were about magic, werewolf genealogy, others about far-away places and also books written by her uncle. Ava sat on the dusty floor and started reading. She was so interested in the books that she didn't notice how quickly time had gone by. Hours passed and the sun started to set but Ava was still reading. "Who knew reading could be this exhausting," she thought to herself.

Heavy with time. Books lined every corner—some thin and colorful, some ancient with cracked spines and gold lettering barely clinging to the covers. To the right, a large reading area with plush armchairs surrounded a low fireplace, its mantle stacked with historical fiction and romance novels. To the left, framed photographs of pack founders lined the walls, beneath a sign that read: Black Hollow Legacy, Preserved in Ink. She could’ve spent hours just standing there, soaking it in. But she had come with a purpose.

A soft and comfortable vintage sofa and… low table… I can't help but smile. This place… I like this. “There is also a second floor?” I mumbled to myself as I saw a stair on the left side of the place. Should… I start reading books? Surely there is no restriction in this library right? Maybe it is good to read for a while. I head to the corner part of the library. Most of the treasures are finely hidden. I always find it difficult to resist finishing a book once started it. Maybe that is the reason why I have no problem in communicating even if I don’t talk to people much.

“They’re yours too. Take whatever you want.” “Really?” Her eyes sparkled. Lucas chuckled. “Yes. Pick them quickly.” Almost flying, she ran towards the shelves that made Lucas shook his head smilingly. “I promise to take only one or two books. Any recommendation?” “The shelves at the inner corner, I called them section of imagination. I put all books that entertain me there. You’ll like it.” She let a chuckle escape as she stepped towards the corner. “Section of imagination. What an odd name.”

Then he said,” You guys also have a café here in with the bookstore, right? “Yeah, we do. Some people come in and like to read for some time. Enjoy. There is a woman who comes for lunch here every day at three in the afternoon and then takes her book which she likes and keeps on reading for the whole thirty minutes. She cannot afford to buy the books. So we try and help people give as much as chance they can to read. My boss thinks that the people who come here to read books are gonna be extinct soon like dodo birds and we are trying to help rehabilitate them,” I said as we finally reached the aisle where the second hand books were kept.

My eyes scan the book I'm reading with fascination and excitement. I rush through the flurry of words as I turn to the next page, eager to know what happens next. The library is the only place I can find quiet freedom away from my hectic home life. In other words, it gave me a break from my brothers. This place is like an escape from the constant worry and protectiveness my three brothers possess.
