Never say “never.” It’s about time I remembered that truth. After the thrilling—hellish in every sense—ride on the Ferris wheel, we wandered around the park some more. It was quite fun. I had never had such simple and entertaining walks before, as I was hardly ever allowed out of the house. And that was sad. I didn’t bring up the conversation about us with Robert again, since we were never alone. Instead, we chatted about various trivial topics, which was also very enlightening and interesting.

I let out a sigh, my body feeling completely content as I let myself melt into him. “Well, where have you gone?” he asks. His chest rumbles against my back with his deep, throaty rasp. “On a yacht? Wherever we’re going tonight.” “No, I meant where have you traveled to before? I don’t want to take you somewhere you’ve already been when I could take you somewhere completely new.” “I’ve never been out of the country, so your options are pretty limitless.” His fingers tighten slightly at my hips. “Never?” I shake my head. “Never. I’m not very well traveled, Preston Rhodes.”

She still doesn’t slow down and still doesn’t make it easier for me to follow her or have a conversation with her. “How do you know my name?” We finally reach the ground floor. Instead of going into the recreation zone, where I know Noah and the kids are still playing because of the noise, she heads outside the pack house. Few people are loitering outside the pack house and they subtly glance out way, trying to figure out what we are doing together. I forget how nosy pack members can be. Packs are a very close-knit community and any gossip is gold. Still, that is the very last thing on my mind.

Photos, journal entries, the whole experience.” I say dreamingly “We'll document every bit of it. Our own little travel journal.” Jim says and brings out a ticket “What!!!!!! New Zealand????” I squeal in excitement “Yes baby girl, New Zealand” Jim says, smiling Our discussions weave seamlessly into the night, embracing the thrill of the unknown and the promise of creating cherished memories. The thought of embarking on this journey together brings a warmth to our hearts.

We could get anything and everything to help our charges and us. Montana was a place I always wanted to visit, but never thought I would get the chance to. Nick kissed my hand. "Why don’t we make this a thing? Like every month or so, we go on vacation to places we have never been before." I suggested. "That's a great idea, but are there places you haven't been?" "Yes, my dad mostly took us to Aspen, Florida or Santorini for vacation." "My family never did vacation. I had to do it on my own, but it was just Vagas." "Well, it's our thing then. And I have always wanted to see Area 51."

"Let's brainstorm." And so we did. We spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in the park, sipping our coffees and making a list of all the places we wanted to visit. From Bali to New Zealand to Iceland, the possibilities seemed endless. In the end, we decided on a trip to Thailand. It was a place none of us had ever been before, and we were drawn to its vibrant culture and stunning scenery. We spent months planning the trip, pouring over guidebooks and researching the best places to visit. We were all so excited to embark on this adventure together, to explore a new part of the world and create even more memories to cherish.
