Phoenix in the Fire

Phoenix in the Fire

Gold would do to this, Gold wouldn't do that, Gold doesn't like this, Gold likes that. They kill a part of him even before he has the chance to try it. "But just like a phoenix, I am reborn again..." He rises from the ashes. The exact same thing people burn is where he'll come back. This time, stronger and better. This time, he rejects to care about what they think will suit him. This is his life. Another symbolism of fire is judgment. "I love my fans, I really do." He didn't prepare a speech. He's just speaking things that enter his mind. It doesn't have an order.

Fire and Flame

Fire and Flame

Why must it be the case that whenever someone sets out to merry and enjoy, certain unpleasant things begin to happen. When certain things begin to happen, I most definitely begin to wonder. The Paragons were out for a reunion at Bema garden having fun. They all wished the fun could last longer and normalize. They would eventually go home being fulfilled and with the same measure of happiness and comfort they had enjoyed during the reunion. The designated morning there were meant to leave the garden, they had all gotten ready for a ride. Unlike the time they went for their yearly trip in the woods. During the reunion, they had limited time and limited activities as well.

Shifted Fate

Shifted Fate

“Alsh firmate alite.” The fire ball flew from my hands and exploded against the dry wood. It caught, and soon the fire was burning through the wood quickly. I fed more wood, bigger pieces into the fire, and waited for it to catch. I wanted to be sure that this was going to be burning for a while before I moved on to the next step. Once I was sure that the fire was good, I flipped back to the page I needed. I read the entire page twice before I put the book back on the ground. I pulled my mother’s necklace out of my pocket and my father’s skin. I prayed to the Moon Goddess that I was right before I tossed both in.

I love Drama
I liked the story very much as it has its uniqueness in it.. Author is talented.. It was a rollercoaster of emotions within also with a lots of twists and turns.. But there are a lots of loosends that needed closures.. However, I guess that's gonna be covered in the next book.. Definitely good read!
Kimberly Best
I love the story. So many new & unique ways she has made this lycan/wolf/witch universe has me captivated tbh. I'm a long-time reader & tired of seeing the same thing. the characters are funny. The way she addresses loss, recovery, and acceptance was touching. can't wait for more from this author ...

THE POSSESSIVE ALPHA KING AND HIS FATED QUEEN

THE POSSESSIVE ALPHA KING AND HIS FATED QUEEN

A surge goes through my body and I throw myself before the fire place, "Darius, no! wh-why, why did you throw the book into the fire!?" I watch helplessly as the book begins to burn. Taking a hasty move I stick my hand into the flames, trying to grab the book but the heat of the fire consumes my hands and I hiss in pain. Darius grabs onto me, hauling me away from the fire and into his arms. "Fuck, Audrey. What is wrong with you!? Why did you put your hand into the fire, do you not consider you will get burnt!?" My gaze is still fixated on the book as it chips away, the familiar pages folding in burns.

MISCHIEVOUS: a new adult romance

MISCHIEVOUS: a new adult romance

“But fire is fun.” I yank on his hand gently to make sure I have his attention. “No. Fire is dangerous. Fire hurts people. It can burn you and melt your skin right off like butter. Do you understand?” He nods, but I see a flare of defiance in there. It makes me sigh. This will not be his last fire. Not by a long shot. “If you want to play with fire, you have to wait and only do it with me or Dad, okay? Promise me.”

The Dumb Cursed Heiress and Her Mates: Reborn For Revenge

The Dumb Cursed Heiress and Her Mates: Reborn For Revenge

I needed to learn how to control it, to use it properly. As I read these words, the book suddenly grew hot in my hands. Unbearably hot. I tried to hold on, but it was like holding fire. The pages began to smoke, then flames appeared at the edges! I dropped the book with a cry. It landed on the stone floor, burning with a bright, clean fire. The flames only touched the book, nothing else. In moments, the book was gone. Only a small pile of ashes remained. I stared at the ashes, my mind racing. Why did the book burn? Was it my magic? Did I make it happen? Or was it meant to burn after being read?

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

Prologue II: Pyre, 3113 Pyre Av 5, 3113 Stephan Caliphus, King Everything was on fire the night he finished the book in the back room of a borrowed house. He laid his glasses down on the desk in front of him and rubbed his tired eyes. The crackling of flames could be heard as the city burned all around them. The blood curdling screams of the men in the streets where they died was enough to make the blood of the fiercest warrior run cold, but he was a man of empathy and it hurt him more than it did the others.

The Tycoon's Forbidden Desire

The Tycoon's Forbidden Desire

She took the 1956 Ledger and wrote on the first page of the new volume: LESSON ONE: THE FIRE IS NOT THE ENEMY. THE FIRE IS THE POINT. The Year Two began with a "Forbidden" engineer and an "Ice" Tycoon’s granddaughter sitting on a beach in Ghana, watching the stars dance. They weren't dancing in a perfect circle anymore. They were dancing in a chaotic, beautiful, and entirely "Permitted" rhythm.

The Dragon Slayer's Queen

The Dragon Slayer's Queen

Alex is there in a heartbeat, grabbing a stick, lighting it with a snap of his fingers, wielding it like a torch against the nearest attacker. Liam moves toward the Queen, but she’s already fighting, wreathing her fists in sickly green flame, blasting it into the face of the first man dumb enough to approach. He crumples, screaming, and the smell of burning hair churns Zayla’s stomach. Zayla and Bella end up back-to-back, as if by instinct, hands out, palms up. The first brute who tries to leap the log is incinerated mid-air, a ribbon of violet fire carving him in two. But there are so many more, and the flames alone won’t hold them.
