Don't Leave Me, Mate

Don't Leave Me, Mate

His smirk froze when she questioned him. How could the woman, for whom his heart had been beating for so long, ask the question? He could consider if other people had asked him that, but how could she? "I don't have a heart?" he muttered as if questioning himself. She shook her head. "No, you don't have a heart. You have a stone in place of a heart that can change colors whenever it wants." After saying that, she moved close to him and tiptoed to grab the book, considering the last time to take a chance.

As always this book is amazing . Loved it but I think at few events it was missing the thrill, that kick of different characters was missing and it could be definitely better but otherwise its awesome.
GODDESS
Just finished this book. As my first review states, you can tell English isn't the first language. So the translations are a little off. And there are A LOT of corrections that need to be made lots of minor ones. Some big ones. BUT THIS STORY IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! IT MADE ME CRY. LOVE THIS STORY

My Boss, My Master!

My Boss, My Master!

Cullen thought her playing there, then the last one, is playing video games online. Both of them were seated on the big sofa, playing a console, holding a controller. Heart was a fast learner but Cullen is a God of gaming so she could not defeat him. They were enjoying playing games just like the normal couple who are in the relationship. But while playing, Heart’s hand became naughty. Her other hand crawled into Cullen’s leg all the way inside his bathrobe. Cullen felt it and he dropped the controller, having an eye contact with Heart’s seductive eyes.

Loving You Is A Risky Game

Loving You Is A Risky Game

Locking it behind, they both walked towards a playground in which they fortunately found many kids playing the game. She sighed as he kept on running, holding her hand. But he was calm like always. She watched him confusedly and in another moment, she realised he had no heart. Actually he has a heart which does not beat anymore. “Yeah, so I can’t pant,” he told her, reading her mind. She forced her lips to stretch into a smile but it was not from her heart. She was forced. Nothing bad if she calls him Heartless. Anyway this is true. A bitter truth.

The Heart That He Stole

The Heart That He Stole

He swept her into his arms and rushed away without looking back. The crowd's stares seared my skin. I forced myself upright, my knees trembling so violently I could hardly stand. … Back home, I headed straight for Ryan's study. I keyed in Olivia's birthday and heard the safe click open. I braced myself for whatever I might uncover. To my surprise, I felt nothing at all. Inside, there were no treasures, just a single document. I pulled it out. Even after everything that had happened, seeing the proof with my own eyes still made my chest tighten, as if an old wound had been torn open again.

The Game He Played With My Heart

The Game He Played With My Heart

"Eliana, don't make this ugly. Nico doesn't know where the line is, but since you're here, sit down." Even then, he thought the only problem was that Nico had gone too far. Even then, he believed offering me a seat could erase the humiliation. I walked to the table and reached for my father's cue case. Before my fingers touched the latch, something pale and smooth slid from beneath the leather strap and dropped across my wrist. For a second, my body forgot how to breathe. The small white snake coiled against my hand, cool and alive, and the room blurred into the old memory of a locked storage room, boys laughing outside the door, something moving in the dark near my ankle.

How Love Play My Heart

How Love Play My Heart

Maybe I’ll just transfer all of this to someone else. I know I can do this. I also feel that no matter what I do, everything will never go back to the way it was. It’s hard to compete in a game where you know you won’t win from the start. Where you’re not even included from the start. Like how love played my heart without anyone involved. ~Ylluscion

The Heart That Turned Cold

The Heart That Turned Cold

" I bent over and got into the car without even looking in her direction. The car drove off with me inside it, just like that. Soon, her cries of despair and the flashes of cameras were nothing but a speck in the distance. Sunlight rained through the window and landed on my face. It spoke of something aloof and cold, but also of resolve and new beginnings. The fetters of my past were shattered and no more. What lay before me was a path to a new future. Yvonne's tears and late regrets would be buried in the sands of time, along with her broken reputation. Artemisia was smiling at me. When she spoke, her voice was gentle and filled with delight. "I helped you snag a 10-billion-dollar project,

TERMS OF THE HEART

TERMS OF THE HEART

"Eleanor built half this family's fortune out of sheer will before anyone thought a woman could run a boardroom. She'll see through anything performed. Don't perform." "I wasn't planning to." "I know," he said. "That's why I think she'll like you." I hung up in my empty apartment, thirty-one pages of my new life on the kitchen table, and felt, for the first time in months, like solid ground instead of falling. I signed my name at the bottom of the final page that night, alone, my father's hospital room quiet three miles away, my mother's photograph propped against the salt shaker like a witness.

The Playbook for Heartbreak

The Playbook for Heartbreak

The cold, bitter frustration lingering in his chest evaporated, replaced instantly by an intense, intoxicating wave of physical heat. He slowly let out a long breath, relaxed his rigid shoulders, and let his left arm rest over the back of the couch behind her, his broad hand hovering near her dark hair. "Show me the play again," Eve instructed quietly, her dark eyes reflecting the cool blue light of the screen. Terry pressed play. The digital ice came alive. On screen, the play developed again—the high-pressure dump-in, the physical battle along the boards, the pass cutting through the slot. "Stop it there," Eve commanded softly.
