TRUST ME

TRUST ME

She sat in the middle of the table and for the first real time, really looked at it. The leather cover was actually very soft, in a dark rich chocolate color, and beneath it was a thick layer of foam or perhaps some kind of batting, but it was comfortable regardless. The wood was dark and highly polished and the belt that had held her down was a wide strip of tanned cow hide. The smell echoed the newness and she smiled. She was actually excited to see what else her husband had in store for the table. Creighton returned a few minutes later and smiled as he watched her sit up on the leather a little straighter. He walked to the bedside table and took the glasses, carrying them over to her and

Tables Turned

Tables Turned

You'd never be able to pay for the damage even if you sold all you had! My hands scraped and started to bleed from the rough ground. I could not help but gaze at Jasmine. She sauntered over, all grace and disdain. She spoke up, as if she was doing me a favor, "You want a closer look? Go ahead, crawl in." I grabbed two sticks to prop myself up and followed her inside. My eyes swept over the antique paintings and luxurious furniture that should have been mine. There were remnants of a lobster feast on the table. It brought back memories of scrimping to help my brothers, surviving on a single bun a day, quenching hunger with gulps of water.

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

The Alpha King's Hated Slave

In the center of the room stood a table, and on it lay an ancient, leather-bound book that seemed to glow without even being touched. “What in heaven's name is that?” I asked.

The Wife They Wanted Dead

Then he reached beneath the table. I hadn't noticed anything there before — no bag, no case, nothing visible from where I sat. But his hand came back holding a small leather folio, worn soft at the edges in the particular way of something carried and handled for a very long time, opened and closed more times than anyone had bothered to count. He set it on the table and drew out a single envelope, sealed, the flap pressed down flat and untouched.

The Dawn Falls

The Dawn Falls

“Sure! I’ll just fetch my pocket in my room.” He dashed back to his room. I waited on the couch, tapping my feet on the floor. He came back a few seconds and I noticed that there was a bump inside the pockets of his shorts. His purse might have a lot of coins. Jay would have two different money storage methods. A wallet where he puts his cards and bills, and a purse where he puts coins and smaller bills. Since we booked our house with dozens of groceries, he exchanges the coins he got into a bill. It’s a kind of saving up thing for him.

CRAVE (ENGLISH VERSION)

CRAVE (ENGLISH VERSION)

When she sat down, she noticed Jason holding a wallet. The young man opened the wallet he was holding and then took a small prayer book from there. Jenny smiled. She also has that in her wallet. "Oh, why are you smiling?" She did not notice that Jason is looking at her. "Ah, nothing!" she said. "Oh really huh?" Jason's unconvinced response. Embarrassed Jenny laughed softly. "It's the prayer book, I also have something like that in my wallet," she said truthfully.

A Monster's Mute Bride.

A Monster's Mute Bride.

I waved both of my hands, hoping she would know that I am grateful. "Oh right, I forgot..." She said before she reached in to the front pocket of her pink apron. The woman pulled out a pink mini notebook with a snap button and a small pen tucked in the gap of the strap. "Here." She said as she offered me the notebook. Accepting the book with both of my hands, I looked down at it with confusion. "I thought it might come in handy. Besides it's small enough to fit in to a wide pocket so you can carry it anywhere." The woman said.

Really enjoyed this book and the character development was very well rounded! Sometimes writers wrap up the ending too fast and you feel like you missed a few chapters but this boom flowed so well you don't feel left out in the cold!!! Would definitely recommend this book :)

Tbh i don't really comment on books that often but i couldn't help appreciating your writing. I'm loving the way you have sketched every character especially the leads dynamic. Ella is so cute and I'm in love with Elijah. I hope he stays like this and never makes me regret falling for him. ...️

Resisting the Irresistible

Resisting the Irresistible

He handed me the pizza and I carefully put it on the small table beside the shoe cabinet. I held up one hand. “Hold on, let me get the money.” I made a short trip to the coat stand. I wasn’t the type who took out all my belongings from my pockets and put them on the table or inside a drawer. Whenever I got home, I simply let whatever was in my pocket stayed in my pocket until I needed them. Just like I thought, my wallet was still in the right pocket of my coat. I pulled out two tens from my wallet and walked back to the door.

She’s The Alpha King

She’s The Alpha King

Inside was a small leather bag, black, sturdy, and clearly hand-stitched with a silver moon symbol on the flap. I gasped. “Eri…. this is beautiful.” “It has hidden pockets,” she said proudly. “To keep your things safe. You can use it to carry herbs or anything else you might need. It’s also light enough to hide under your uniform jacket and cap.” I hugged it close. “Thank you. I love it.” She smiled, finally happy again. “I wanted to give you something useful, not just pretty.” “This is perfect,” I said honestly. “Everything about it.”
