Chapter 6- Caden After a long drive and a detour to the nearest Tim Horton’s, I finally make it to the location of The Run. It looks like I just missed Ancient Eli’s speech about the rogue vampires judging by the time and the way a stage setup is being dismantled but my father thankfully gave me the information earlier in his office. Fledglings were nothing to take lightly, their bloodlust causing the fall of many cities for centuries when not trained in a coven. Their presence will bring a greater challenge this year if anyone were to run into one.

“Er why?” Rex asked, raising one eyebrow. “Your choice just made me twenty-five thousand dactrem” Poe said with a smile. “Didn’t you choose which animal to sell?” Rex enquired, still wondering why Poe was so keen to reward him. “No, you did, and by the sound of it, you chose well” Poe said, still smiling, turning away and walking towards a set of stairs that headed into the centre of the building, as he reached the top of the stairs, Poe turned back and waved his hand, beckoning for Rex to follow.

I questioned myself staring at handsome police officer in front of me. Third person POV: While speaking on call with ‘Shabbir shaik’ from corner of right eye Ravan saw Aisha running away from him, Ravan turned and kept staring at her small running figure , when his partner Guddu interrupted him “Ravan she is running away… Do you want us to catch her?” Guddu questioned him however Ravan Simply kept staring at back of Aisha who was slowly getting disappeared in crowd ahead “Naomi… haa, Find her address!” Ravan said with a smirk while his eyes still fixed at place where Aisha Disappeared.

It's Thursday morning, I've been here since 7am 'cause I had to catch up with the work I missed yesterday. I had Camden go in my place for some meetings but I still went through everything 'cause don't trust anyone. Camden is my cousin. He happens to be the only one within my age range.

Mary Bee, my best friend and the marketing department's golden girl, was leaning against my cubicle, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Christ, Mary! Warn a girl next time," I said, clutching my chest dramatically. Mary rolled her eyes, her perfectly manicured nails tapping an impatient rhythm on the cubicle wall. "Drama queen. "You don't need to thank me for doing standard inventory accounting, Joel," I said, feeling an immediate, awkward wave of discomfort wash over me as he kept staring.
