I say disappointedly. “I removed the contents.” “You removed talcum powder. A completely boring substance. You of all people should know there’s more than one way to skin a cat.” I smile, sitting back in my chair as I admire my nails. “You told me poison is a far more sophisticated weapon that the average man cannot comprehend. There’s truth to that, but not for the reasons you like to tell yourself. You see it’s not about the weapon but the person who wields it. Me and the women in my family are good at what we do because of men like you and the world you have so proudly built. Much like the plants I work with, you view women as beautiful prizes to obtain and use but have no comprehension o

A Queen Among Alphas

A Queen Among Alphas

I sigh sadly. I never realised that it’s not just men who can be sexist towards women. Mum is definitely a product of her upbringing. She wanted to be a stay at home mum and there’s nothing wrong with that; I was glad I had her around to care for me. But that worked for her, that doesn’t work for everyone. To be honest, I can’t picture Amelia as a housewife, and I don’t fucking want to. I like my woman and how she knows what she wants and goes for it. The thought of her only living to take care of me makes me uncomfortable.

The entire 'A Queen Among ' series is fantastic. The characters are full of depth, and It's refreshing to see an author of supernatural dark romance novels take a different approach instead of staying with the same story tropes we've read a hundred times. Amelia is the OG Queen and I loved this one

What. A. Book. Read this in a day because i couldn't put it down. I've been reading books on GN for about a year or so and this has to be, hands down the best one i have read. This deserves WAY more attention. So unique! An empowering female lead who delivers from start to finish, we need more!

His Tutor

“They weren’t boys.” “Right. They weren’t boys. So, what is the fundamental reason behind his actions?” There were a few whispers, but no one raised their hand. To encourage them further she added. “This reason is not just unique to Henry. It was and still is a worldwide issue.” Still nothing, until one timid looking girl with a round face tentatively began to push her hand upwards. “Yes?” Miranda asked. “Sexism.” The girl said quickly. A couple of students next to her gave her an odd look, but Miranda was completely chuffed.

My Horrible Ex-Husband Can't Move On, But I Can

My Horrible Ex-Husband Can't Move On, But I Can

“It’s her that I personally know Amelia. She’s just a dumb housewife. She doesn’t know anything apart from managing a home.” Mark grimaced. “I think women should be fighting against sexism instead of enabling it. Even as a man, I am disappointed in you. Who says women can only be housewives in this day and age? Women can be so much more. Women can be anything they want to be!” Mark thundered. Lilian felt even more enraged that Mark was defending Amelia. “I’m not being a sexist. Like I said before, I personally know Amelia and she’s not capable of a lot of things!”

Mr sen glared at her "Of you want to implement my opinion like this then let it be like that miss sareen and if you want to give me some lecture about feminism then before that look at your surrounding , you can clearly see with your own eeys that every single person present inside this room is a man except you which means these men have much more experience and capabilities than you in every aspect here miss sareen..." Ridhina slightly gritted her teeth hearing his choice of words. "So I guess not only just me but every men ." "This is not about me having experience or not but me being a woman is the real problem here which offended your chauvinistic thoughts right mr.sen....?" Ridhima

How I Became Immortal

How I Became Immortal

She had experienced sexism on multiple occasions in her previous life. Although that world was developed technologically and there was equality, she had still experienced prejudice. Most people blindly believed that racism and sexism was abolished and that it didn’t exist, but that was far from the truth. She noticed that most of these instances were behind the scenes. Many have judged her for being the only woman in the workplace. The majority of her coworkers were all men. Over the course of her life, she fought hard to obtain the position that she deserved. She proved to all of them that women were just as smart and talented as men were. Over time, she was able to prove to every last one

, she told and I remembered him speaking about her with flow and meaning. "I hate seeing other people being treated poorly by men more than I hate seeing myself being treated this way", she told me and picked up her pages for the coffee-soaked papers and took them to her balcony. "And I hate seeing talent wasted, so go write me an article about sexist men, if it's golden I'll find a way to sneak it in the paper", she said and hinted at me as I joined her in the fresh breeze.

Except they've been proven to not be so useless after all, because I have recited his sentences word for word. "Eres una puta mujer, así que empieza a actuar así. No vales nada más, así que no esperes que yo ni ningún hombre te tratemos así. Ahora, ve a hacerme otra taza, perra!" (You're a fucking woman, so start acting like it. You are not worth anything else, do not expect me or any man to ever treat you like it. Now, go make me another cup, bitch!) I was fucking seven. This sexist motherfucker. Yet, I never said that to him, I simply just went back and made him another cup.

When women are oppressed, it's tradition. ― Letty Cottin Pogrebi “Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” ― Margaret Atwood “Life affords you infinite possibilities to pay more attention to what is actually happening. Not just around you but what is Inside you.” ―Jeff Warren

Spirit bound by the Alpha's curse

"I don't want any packs. I'm not challenging anyone." "They might believe that," she said, "but they don't believe your mate wants what you want. They think because you're a woman, your mate is the real power behind everything that's happened, and he's just hiding what he's done by having you take the glory. Am I right, gentlemen?" Frost glared at all of them. "I've only been an Alpha for a short time, but every single meeting I've attended has been filled with your sexism. I'm honestly sick of it."
