Poem Sunflower Novels & Stories

At the time, Lucas's thoughtless words struck me like a bolt of lightning. I had clutched the flowerpot, forced myself not to cry, and then raised my head to wager with him. But as soon as he turned away, my tears flowed uncontrollably, falling into the pot and landing on the rose seeds. Then I dug up the seeds and carelessly tossed them onto the lawn below. “You will never bloom. It's a waste to be planted here. You deserve to grow freely.” I placed the pot back in its original spot, pretending as if nothing had happened as I returned to my room.

There’s still so much I don’t know about him. “Yes, madame,” he replied as we stopped at a spot filled with sunflowers, “I’m gonna leave you here now; enjoy the rest of the night.” He bid farewell, leaving me speechless in amazement. Sunflowers have always been my favorite flower; they mean unconditional love. I’m not a hopeless romantic, nor am I extremely bitter; I just love the meaning behind them.

Skylar snickered, dabbing the inexperienced she-wolf on the head before taking off a blossom from her basket and offered it to her. "Sunflower?" The toothless six years old girl beamed as she brought the flower to her nose and puffed the fresh fragrance. "Why you give me a sunflower flower, Sky?" She grilled with novelty. Skylar chuckled. "Your brilliant smile reminds me of the sun, and your eyes beamed along. I thought a sunflower portrays you better"

Seeing Ash helplessness to allow himself, Alex couldn't help holding out one hand to hold the opponent, his little finger hooked lightly, indicating that he would take it when he saw it, and took out the left hand that had been hidden from behind. I heard these things and felt nothing. Another year passed, and a florist opened in town. The owner was a young woman who'd drop fresh stems off at the clinic now and then. One day she brought sunflowers. "Dr. Jo, these were ordered by a gentleman out of state. He said they're for the best doctor in town." I looked at the sunflowers and didn't refuse them. I put them in a vase on my desk. Sunflowers mean silent love, the kind that is never spoken. I knew who they were from.

"No, we didn't…" Chris knew that I loved sunflowers because they reminded me of the sun and its warmth, and symbolized living towards the light. Sometimes, people longed for their own special ray of light, after staying in the darkness for too long. Perhaps we were all wildflowers and weeds growing in the shadows, but as long as we lived every day reaching for the light, things would change one day, and the light would come shining through. I used to joke that if we were sacrificed in the line of duty, we'd find cemeteries filled with sunflowers so that we'd never get lost. The path would be filled with shadows, but we'd always be able to see the light.

CORA In a garden. So green. So fresh. Beautiful sun flowers adding to it's beauty. The clouds are bright with the colour, blue and white. Very sunny day. Sunny beautiful day. I am standing there. Right in the middle of the garden in a white dress and a crown made of white flowers on my head. I am admiring the sun flowers. So beautiful. So yellow. They are my favourite. He was deep in thought while resting one elbow. Then the lady working there approached him. She cleared her throat, gaining his attention. "Sir, how can I help you?" "Oh, well, I want to buy flowers for a girl." "Can you describe her a little?" "Well, She is lively and beautiful." "Umm... In that case, I think you should go with sunflowers. They're a symbol of positivity and also a great choice for the woman you love."

it's resembles my situation , where this world is a garden ; And I at the other end , just a "LONELY FLOWER" . Just I was thinking about that , A butterfly with blue and black wings landed on the single daisy flower . "It's seems, it's not alone anymore". I also wish for a butterfly who'll make me a party of this world. Ah ,I feel like crying. "My lady , we shall head back inside. it's windy outside". we went inside and I started to write a novel , to divert my attention from crying. Though I said that , I can't stop myself , my tears are running to my cheeks and feel in my writings .

A few stooping sunflowers growing on a rocky land came next, standing across a hill with a crowd of giant thorns, yet the first laced sunflower remained tainted and the ever-standing one never let go of its rough stem, which still bruised the other three flowers. I paused before dipping my hands into my pockets and staring at the last painting, ignoring the other ones that followed it. The art looked interesting but the knowledge of it evaded me. I wondered if Flynn knew about it when he came to stand beside me. He placed his right palm on the wall, caressing one of the bruised petals of the red sunflower.
