The words echoed through Ivy’s mind as she adjusted the pale blue dress Martha had insisted she wear. “I haven’t worn a dress in years,” Ivy muttered, tugging at the sleeves. “Exactly why tonight is the perfect night.” Martha smiled as she fastened a silver ribbon around Ivy’s waist. The fabric wasn’t expensive. It wasn’t embroidered with jewels like the daughters of ranked wolves would wear. But it fit Ivy perfectly, bringing out the soft green of her eyes.

I felt so exposed. "Come on Via, let me see" I finally open the curtain and step out. I do a 360 and she shakes her head. "Your dad will kill me if I let you go out in this" She covers my chest area "Who makes these costumes? Seriously." She points at the Harley Quinn costume. "Try on that one next. I have high hopes for it." I nod and walk back into the dressing room. I slowly get out of the nurses costume and change into the Harley Quinn one.
