We reached the arena’s door and I pulled on my jacket waiting as Aurora took the handle to pull it open. As usual eyes fell on me but it was nothing new seeing as I was used to it. Today, unlike the party where they had all seen me glammed up, I was dressed in my pack’s – Blue Claw – warrior outfit. It was what I had to fight in. Fitted brown leathered pants, armored straps attached to the sleeves of my shirt and a jacket where I could hide my knives should in case I would need them in a fight.

Ivy sighs from next to me and pats my shoulder, "A minor threat goes a long way." My eyebrows raise as I look at all of them, "You threatened her to keep her mouth shut?" Kingston shrugs, the smirk on his face drawing my attention. He looks good today, they all do. Stone wears a navy blue long sleeve to cover up his tattoos. Haeden wears his signiture hoody, Kingston wears a white button up tucked into his jeans and Ivy wears tight jeans and a black tshirt. "What did you tell her?" I ask, my curiosity getting the better of me.

My throat ran dry and I squeezed my eyes shut, instantly regretting putting myself in such a dangerous state. “Hope no one saw you,” Ivy's rough voice caused the hairs on my nape to rise as she spoke to the man I had seen creeping out of one of the caves. My eyes popped open when a gruff voice responded, saying, “No one saw me.” Slightly, I poked out my head from behind the tree and peeked at them from over my thick lashes. “Did you bring it?” Ivy inquired, dressed in a black cloak with its oversized Cape hanging over her head.

“I still can’t believe we live in the same building. It’s—” Victor pushes me back against his front door. I gasp as he drops to his knees in front of me. He reaches up between my breasts and unzips my costume all the way down to my ankles. I wanted to go as the traditional Harley Quinn, so I wore a black and red jumpsuit that looks like a court jester’s costume. But instead of the hat, I let my dark curls run wild. I got the suit a few years ago when I was a little thinner, so it’s snug all over me and not just in certain places. It feels like a second skin, but it actually gave me some extra confidence tonight. Enough that I’ve been far bolder than I ever have with anyone before.

The thought twisted something in my chest. I went to the market alone and set about finding each of them something decent to wear. After a long search through a high-end clothier, I found it: a dark silver cloak, the kind that would suit Victor perfectly.
