Pouring a generous measure of whiskey, he places the glass in my hand, a silent offering of solace amidst the chaos. In fact, he was really good at it. He was making several sneak attack on the Manticore's blind spots while the beast was busy fighting Grisha. Though his attack were not dealing any damage, they still hindered its movements enough to be called as skilled support. The remaining members of the restraining party were also still trying to hold the beast back, but for most them the target was just too fast.

But the full moon was approaching, and he would shift by then since his eighteenth birthday would be in two weeks. From what I heard from my father’s Gamma, once he shifted and they could see his wolf’s ability, they would raise his rank. They could see potential in him.
