Pokemon Reborn Mudkip Novels & Stories

Colder. They found the rogue near the riverbed, hunched over the deer carcass, its fur matted with blood. It was tall and thin, almost skeletal. Its eyes glowed faintly red, but not like the wolf in her memories. These eyes flickered unstable, fading in and out of their glow like a dying ember. The rogue didn’t react to their approach. It smelled them, surely. Heard them. Felt them. And yet it didn’t flinch. Kael growled low. “Something’s wrong.”

I tried pulling him off me. "What are you doing? Stop calling me 'Mom.' Your mother is Judy." His reaction was instant. "Mom, don't say that. You told me—no matter what happens, I'll always be your baby. You said if I ever felt wronged, I could come to you. Did you forget?" I froze. Those were indeed words I had once said—just not in this lifetime. They belonged to the past one. So Phillip had been reborn too. Seeing me caught off guard, his confidence grew.

I didn't even need to guess—Robbie would definitely take mine before it ever reached me. So I made up an excuse about picking something up for him and slipped into his office. His office was almost bare, save for one object that stood out: a delicate porcelain teacup, far finer than anything else in the room. I remembered that teacup. In my previous life, Robbie had treasured it like gold. Even after retirement, he used it every day at home. One afternoon, while mopping, I accidentally knocked it to the floor. He flew into a rage and slapped me across the face.

I didn’t realize I was already by the pond and I almost fell in. “That was close.” I muttered to myself. I took a step back and noticed something in the pond. What is that? I knelt down beside it and took a closer look. Is that a pufferfish? I decided to drop a rock next to it to see if it’ll puff up. Much to my surprise, it did.

My legs were longer, my hands were bigger. I quickly stood up and stumbled to the mirror. I did not see my face staring back to me. Instead, a man was staring back at me. I studied his face with the kind of intensity i had once reserved for a late night cramming before exams. He has high cheekbones but not too high, a round face, button nose, a mole under his left eyes just like mine, black hair, gray eyes. He looked cute for a guy. He would easily pass off as a male and female. His body was average height.

He sits up hurriedly, gasping for air and flailing in the bathtub with the now lukewarm water in it. He sits for a while just trying to get his mojo back and calm himself down as he calculates his vision, wondering if it is real, or it is a trick of his tired and desperate mind. He eventually gets up and out of the tub, taking off and washing his underwear in the soapy water in the bathtub, and finally draining the tub.

Andrew, the bravest of this class, sits directly in the Alpha’s lap. Titan pulls the book from his pocket and reads. He uses a high pitch squealy voice for Jamima and a low gruff voice for the fox. The pups laughed a little at his voices, and frowned when the puppies ate the eggs. They all looked a little sad that Jamima only got four ducklings from her next nest. “I’ll bet something,” Titan says to the 7 pups in front of him. “I’ll bet each of you little pups has broken something you didn’t mean to.”

‘I’ve never felt anything like this before - it feels like nature is one with me. I smile at him, grateful for his protection and newfound powers. ‘Well, it looks like you just saved our lives,’ I say, wagging my tail slightly at him. “Thank you, Liam.” He grins back at me, his eyes bright and full of excitement. ‘Don’t thank me yet,’ he says. “I have a feeling we aren’t out of danger just yet, and we still need to get you free from the ice.’ As if on cue, the ground begins to shake again, and a deep rumbling sound fills the air. We look around frantically, trying to figure out what is happening, when suddenly, a huge creature bursts out of the ground, its massive body covered in scales and

He must be furious! [Feels good! The spot's finally back where it belongs. First step in crushing that impostor's dream!] [Nice one, Horace! Dump the trashy troublemaker girl, go to the same university as the female lead, and take back everything that belongs to you. That's the real heir storyline!] I didn't say a word. Horace let out a deep breath, as if he was finally releasing all the frustration he had carried since being reborn. "Brian, I'm really sorry about this, but this admission spot was always supposed to be mine. Getting back what belongs to me feels pretty damn good. Without a top university on your record… What do you think you'll ever amount to?"
