A KISS IN THE DARK : EMPIRE OF OBSESSION

A KISS IN THE DARK : EMPIRE OF OBSESSION

Ariana looked deeply confused while Maddison laughed harder like the devil himself possessed him. I genuinely considered murdering him right at that moment, eventually Ariana grabbed my hand excitedly before dragging me toward the bed again. "Look!" she announced proudly while showing me several drawings scattered across the blanket. "I made all these yesterday!" She must've drawn all these with the things Zachary brought for her, I sat beside her carefully while looking through them one by one. Most were colorful princesses, cats, cartoon flowers, and somehow one extremely violent drawing of Maddison being attacked by pigeons.

Alpha’s Regret: The Return Of The Betrayed Luna

Alpha’s Regret: The Return Of The Betrayed Luna

he protested, puffing his chest out. “Training doesn’t mean breaking things.” Lexi laughed softly, the sound broke the air between us. I glanced at her, and I knew this would be a great moment to maybe tell her I want to take her out for dinner or something, but I didn't. And then, the moment passed. Wayne and Nia joined in, their chatter filling the porch. Nia held a drawing, thrusting it toward me with the kind of pride only a child could have. “I drew this! It’s a horse.”

Revenge with My Quadruplets

Revenge with My Quadruplets

Emily told Chris and Diane about the stories of horses. "Mommy, let's take it home. I like it very much." After playing with the pony for a while, Diane suggested. "No, we can't raise it now. The pony will be happier here." Emily rejected Diane's request. "It won't be, Mommy. The pony likes me very much. Look, it's licking my hand. I want it." Diane was anxious. At that moment, there was a commotion in the distance. Emily placed her hand on her forehead and saw people in a competition.

Curse of the Lycan Kings

Curse of the Lycan Kings

I imagined tearful denials and rending of clothes, but I guess ten days in the company of a Lycan King running for your life really does have a way of changing one’s perspective. I keep an eye on her as she wanders across the farm. There isn’t much here anymore, apart from a few tractors and two Shetland ponies grazing in the paddock. I watch as she casually strolls over to the young chestnut mare and puts her hand on the animal’s flank. The horse whinnies and nervously paws at the ground, but when Pippa puts her head in the pony’s neck, the mare calms right down. A few minutes later, the pony throws her head back and affectionately rests it on Pippa’s shoulder.

I loved this story!!! I loved seeing Pippa and Adrian grow as characters—they have a love that is so passionate and real. The plot is amazing, and the whole story grows so much larger than the opening pages. I’ve also never seen a soul so dark as Caspian’s. Amazing read!

Amazing read so far! Great characters & story! Frequent updates, altho I’m dreading catching up! ...... Writer is amazing - super shitty that other reviewers have given this 1 star because a different great book from the author was removed by the app - Shame on them! This is definitely worth the read!

My Father's Best Friend

My Father's Best Friend

“This damn horse was a breeding legend. Purebred, pure white stallion. The most beautiful coat you’ve ever seen. Long mane. Its offspring are all show horses, too. And the best part?” “Do share.” Matt chuckled, leaning on his club, a smile stretching his reddening cheeks. “She hated him.” I chuckled again as Bob flipped me off. “He scared the shit out of her. She’d been asking and asking for a pony for years, and when Bob finally decides to meet her request, he buys her the biggest, baddest bastard he can find.” “Dude. Those things have a cock the size of—” Matt started but Damon cut him off. The guy was an artist, not a businessman, not that we minded at all. Everyone was laughing at that p

My Ex-Husband's Greatest Regret

My Ex-Husband's Greatest Regret

Leo cheered, skidding to a halt beside my chair and thrusting the paper right into my lap. I looked down at the drawing, a soft, involuntary smile breaking across my face. It was drawn in bold, vibrant colors. In the center was a stone castle with blue flags on the turrets. Standing in the grass out front were three stick-figure people holding hands. On the left was a figure with black hair in a red dress labeled Mommy. On the right was a broad figure colored in black crayon labeled Mr. Tyson. And right between them, holding both of their hands with a yellow smiley face, was a smaller figure labeled Leo.

No Way to Win Me Back

No Way to Win Me Back

“I’m really sorry she said that.” Bonnie glanced at me, assessing. “You didn’t, though.” “No,” I said. “I didn’t. And I wouldn’t.” She didn’t respond, but her shoulders relaxed by a fraction. We walked a little farther, sat on the grass. Bonnie pulled a folded piece of paper from her backpack and hesitated before unfolding it. A drawing, two girls on a carousel, one with lighter hair, one darker. An adult figure stood nearby, watching. “That’s from the amusement park,” I said gently.

The Wrong Bride, His Revenge

The Wrong Bride, His Revenge

The farmhouse was warm. I sat by the fire. Lily was on my lap. Barnaby was tucked under her arm. She was drawing on a piece of paper with crayons. Red. Blue. Yellow. Green. Her small tongue poked out in concentration. She was so focused. So present. Rex walked to me. Sat beside me. His hand found my knee. "What is she drawing?" I looked at the paper. A house. A garden. Three figures. Two tall. One small. A yellow sun in the corner. A red flower. A blue sky.

Marrying a Disabled CEO in My Sister's Place

Marrying a Disabled CEO in My Sister's Place

Alice explained, reaching out to pet the nose of Angel, the beautiful, spotted-bodied Mustang mare who had acted like an affectionate dog from the moment Alice and Millie set foot in the stable “And studs are often the home of horses and where their babies are born. Once, when I was a little older than you, your great-grandfather took me to one of the Bianchi's stud farms. I remember it being a very beautiful place.” “Can we go there today?” her baby asked, delighted. “Why, we still have to finish getting to know the horses, don’t we?” Alice tried to distract her and it didn't take her more than a few words to manage "We haven't even seen the ponies yet..." “Josh, Josh! Me and Hoppy want to

BETROTHED TO THE ITALIAN ALPHA MAFIA BOSS

BETROTHED TO THE ITALIAN ALPHA MAFIA BOSS

The minutes melted away unnoticed, the rhythmic brushing and occasional nuzzles from the ponies drawing me into a quiet world far from the noise of the party or the drama I’d left behind. “Cassie! Cassie! Cassie!” My name rang out in the distance, cutting through my tranquility. At first, I ignored it, choosing instead to rest my head against the pony’s neck. Tears I didn’t know were still in me began to fall again, silent but heavy. The ponies seemed to sense my sadness, their warm bodies shifting closer, offering a quiet comfort that humans often failed to provide.
