Ace gently lifts my arm and brushes his warm lips against my knuckles, his gaze intense and seductive. His expression is as blank as a fresh canvas, eagerly awaiting the gentle strokes of a fan brush to depict our future. I desperately want to ask him what happened. It is quite evident to observe the swelling around his eye and the development of a purple bruise along the defined contour of his jaw.

We have to believe that there is hope, that there is a chance for you to find peace and happiness once again."
