Blame The Game

Blame The Game

Byul just shrugged and start munching on the chips. Stanley then turned to him and said: “Where did you go the night before?” Back then, he was so anxious and angry that he didn’t have the time to ask Byul but since they need to get a hang of things, exchanging few information doesn’t sound so bad. Stanley didn’t hear him reply but since he would stick with him anyway, he didn’t hide what he know and just threw his words out. “I heard from the soldiers before that the apocalypse started two weeks ago and judging by the time frame, it still haven’t spread that far yet. Only few people know what’s really happening and they hinted that some illegal drugs were used to treat some abnormal patient

The Destroyer

The Destroyer

But tears came anew as I remembered the screams and metallic liquid splattering over my face. “All I can hear is screaming, and all I can smell is blood,” I said, my voice shaking. His heartbeat. That is what I needed to focus on. I couldn’t see anything, never could see anything. But I can feel, smell, and feel. That is what I needed to do. I let out a sob as I felt his calm, steady pulse, relief, and weariness washing over me. If the soldier was peaceful, it meant it was over. It meant that people would be safe now. God, I hoped Rae and Alkaios were safe. But in my heart, I knew… I knew Alkaios was dead.

A very good read but the ending was suddenly abrupt. After not having an update for longer than normal, I came to check the comments to see if others were clamoring for updates only to see that the story status now said completed. That said, I hope to see other stories set in this world.

What a brilliant and enjoyable read. Fantastic characters, great storyline, definitely a book I could not put down and would happily keep reading if there were more chapters! Looking forward to reading a sequel very soon in the future, thank you author!

Rise After the Fall

Rise After the Fall

There were no words, only a photo. In it was Daniel. He wore the greasy uniform of a fast-food joint, his hair disheveled, squatting by a trash can and smoking. His gaze was empty as he stared at the distant neon lights, his profile under the dim streetlamp looking frail and defeated. In the background, across the street, the LED screen faintly showed a news clip of Lextron Technology’s conference. My face appeared clearly on the screen. The sender was anonymous.

REBORN SIXTY DAYS BEFORE THE DEAD RISE

REBORN SIXTY DAYS BEFORE THE DEAD RISE

The facility erupted in flames. The evolved infected were destroyed. The Apex was thrown into the air. It crashed into the ground. I ran. Through the flames. Through the chaos. Through the death. I reached the edge of the forest. Adrian was waiting. "Scarlett!" "I'm okay." "You're not okay." "I'm alive." "That's all that matters." I looked back at the facility. It was destroyed. The evolved infected were destroyed. But the Apex was still alive. It rose from the ruins.

APOCALYPSE QUEEN: LEVEL UP OR DIE

APOCALYPSE QUEEN: LEVEL UP OR DIE

] [Compound Security Status: ABSOLUTE. [System Status: STABLE.] I looked around at my team—my men, my farmers, my tracker, my medic—standing unified amidst the ash and mud. The spring had brought its first trial, and Apex had answered with absolute, unbroken power. We were no longer just surviving the apocalypse; we were mastering it.

Reborn before the apocalypse: from betrayed wife to survivor

Reborn before the apocalypse: from betrayed wife to survivor

"Knowing your worth. Knowing what you deserve." I looked into his eyes. "Marcus—" "I know." His voice was soft. "We'll deal with Daniel. We'll survive the apocalypse. And then we'll figure out what this is." He brushed a strand of hair from my face. "Together." I nodded. And for the first time in a long time, I believed it.

Rich Under Their Hate: The Social Status System

Rich Under Their Hate: The Social Status System

Their uniforms were black, unmarked, and their movements were coordinated with a clinical, terrifying efficiency. "Target acquired," the lead soldier shouted, his voice amplified through his mask. "Secure the girls. Leave the server to the purge team." "Wait!" Pim yelled, shielding Chalida. "Who are you?" The soldier didn't answer. He lunged at them, but just as his hand touched her shoulder, the room exploded in a final, blinding burst of light as the entire city’s power grid surrendered. Everything vanished into black. When Pim opened her eyes, she wasn't in the penthouse. She wasn't in the city. She was in the back of a moving armored transport, the smell of ozone and wet pavement hanging

Me vs. My Sister's Plot Armor

Me vs. My Sister's Plot Armor

On the way out, I might've accidentally shot Willa in the kneecap. Oops. Now they match. Real couple goals. In the end, every last one of those monsters got executed. Not a single one walked. Brentford Base neared completion under my watch. People rebuilt. Production came back. Three months in, the military cleared out the cities. Six months later, the vaccine hit everyone. By the one-year mark, the apocalypse was officially over. Humanity won. And the name Selene Sorrell— they'd never forget it.

He also knows that it is not easy to accept that either, so he is ready to explain. Brandon's eyes reflected a mix of memories and revelations. At first, it was a confidential topic, but not anymore. "Exactly. I'm a commander of the special squad, do you remember?" Liam nodded. "There are people in the military, just like me, who developed these extraordinary abilities. It's like something in us awakened. It was all before this apocalypse happened." Liam's eyes widened. His eyes were full of both disbelief and fascination. "Awakened? You mean, like magic or something like that?"

Hybrid Warrior - A Survivor's Story

Hybrid Warrior - A Survivor's Story

Roman POV I got an urgent mind link from my warriors to get to my brother Reign’s home, my pulse hammering in my chest as I raced there. I contacted by mind link my oldest brother, Hamza, and a few trusted warriors to meet me there. Calling on my wolf, I pushed through the terrain as fast as I could, grabbing only a t-shirt and joggers, which I tied around my neck to change into later. Every second mattered. Every second was a chance to prevent more suffering.
