My Husband And His Assistant Said I'm Close-minded

My Husband And His Assistant Said I'm Close-minded

My husband and his employees went on a camping trip, and his assistant posted on social media. [We drew lots for the tents, and guess who ended up with the handsome CEO!] The post showed a selfie she took. Behind her, my husband was taking his shirt off. Someone left a comment. [A man and a woman alone together? Sounds juicy.] The assistant quickly replied with a smirking emoji. [I like a little excitement!] After I liked the post, it was deleted right away. Soon, my husband called me on video. In front of his crying assistant and several employees, he scolded, “Why did you like the post?! It was just a game! Don’t be so close-minded!” As I watched him hold the assistant in arms and comforted her, I quietly hung up. After ten years of loving Caelan Sullivan, I decided then and there to let go.

The Listed Girlfriend

The Listed Girlfriend

On the eve of Thanksgiving, I stumbled across a post online. "Selling an online girlfriend—5'7", 100 pounds, absolute knockout. We already agreed to meet at Aureline Hotel. She's a virgin too. Just transfer me 8000." At first, I thought it was some ridiculous troll post, but when I clicked in, I realized the guy was serious. Quite a few men in the comments had already messaged him privately. My stomach churned, and I exited the post in disgust. Right then, a message came in from my long-distance boyfriend, Hayden Clarke. "Naomi, you don't need to pick me up at the station. Just go straight to Aureline Hotel, Room 1008." I could not stop thinking about the post I had just seen, so I went back and read it carefully again. That was when I realized the "online girlfriend" they were talking about… was me. Before I could even reply to Hayden, I received a threatening text from his female best friend instead. "You slut! You're the reason Hayden ditched us on Thanksgiving! Tell me, where are you two going?!" I quirked a brow in response. This was not the first time his so-called best friend had tried to ruin our dates. But since she was so desperate to know, the big surprise Hayden had prepared would just have to be saved for her instead.

Crimson Love

Crimson Love

Thirty years after the apocalypse, the world belongs to darkness. When a failed climate weapon shattered Earth’s atmosphere, sunlight became lethal. Entire cities burned beneath toxic ultraviolet storms while humanity fled underground into fortress-cities powered by artificial UV towers. Above the surface, civilization rotted beneath snow, ash, and endless night. And the vampires emerged. Seraphine Ward (Sera) grew up hating them. A hunter from the human city of Zelios, Sera is sharp-tongued, reckless, and fueled almost entirely by anger after vampires destroyed her childhood settlement years ago. He isentirely too amused by the hunter who immediately tries to stab him through the throat. Unfortunately, it barely slows him down. Their first meeting should have ended in bloodshed. Instead, it begins an uneasy alliance neither of them wants. When Zelios’ UV towers begin failing, Sera is forced to travel through the deadly wastelands beyond civilization in search of an abandoned underground laboratory rumored to contain pre-apocalypse atmospheric research capable of restoring sunlight. Husen claims he knows where it is. And Husen, a monster feared even among immortals, becomes increasingly unstable around Sera. Because her blood is different. Not sweeter. Not rare. Before the apocalypse, Zelios scientists secretly experimented on unborn children using altered vampire blood in desperate attempts to engineer immunity against blood sickness and ultraviolet radiation. Sera was one of the few surviving subjects. Her blood isn’t natural. She was created. And Zelios knew. Once Zelios discovers what her blood can do, its leaders betray her immediately, planning to drain and replicate her blood to create biological weapons and controlled vampire armies. Husen responds exactly as expected. Violently. As war erupts between humans and vampires, Sera and Husen journey through ruined cities while their hatred slowly turns into obsession, intimacy, and dangerous love.

She Cured Him, I Cured Myself

She Cured Him, I Cured Myself

To help my surgeon husband with his erectile dysfunction, I made an appointment with an expert six months in advance. But as the day approached, Isiah Coleman canceled it without explanation. Just as I was about to call him to demand answers, I spotted a post from his female friend on her social media. My usually stoic husband was beaming as he wrapped his arms around her. The caption read: [Only I can cure your illness.] What struck me, though, was the telltale bulge in his pants in the photo—a reaction I'd never seen from him with me. With a cold laugh, I liked the post and left a comment: [What a miracle worker!] The post exploded, with everyone speculating whether I'd confront the mistress. But what awaited him after the holiday was our freshly printed divorce certificate.

Dropped My Cheating Wife, Got a New One

Dropped My Cheating Wife, Got a New One

As I lean into the arms of my sexy gym trainer, I randomly come across a forum post that displays my home's coordinates in its IP address. "Everyone, what should I do if I've accidentally ruined my boss' husband's luxurious custom-fitted suit when I was washing it earlier? I'm just an assistant, so there's no way I can afford to pay for it!" At first glance, I can tell that the post is made by Archie Carter, the personal assistant of Valerie Henderson, whom I've married via a marriage alliance. Someone leaves a scathing comment in the post. "What else can you do? Cough up the payment, of course! What's the point in making this post?" "You call yourself an assistant when in reality, you're nothing but a pretentious phony! You think you can get away with making mistakes just by crying about how poor you are?" Archie quickly replies, "I wanted to compensate for the damages, but when Ms. Henderson found out about it, she already made me 'compensate' using other methods. I used the whole night to pay the price, you know!" One can only imagine how wild the night could have been for Valerie and Archie. I just laugh before sharing the post to my admirers' group chat. "Whoever can knock off Henderson Group's stock price by five points gets to replace that useless wife of mine."

The Alpha I Saved Ruined Me

The Alpha I Saved Ruined Me

She saved a dying stranger in the forest, never knowing he would become both her greatest love and her deepest pain. *** In a world where humans are hunted, enslaved, and forced to live under werewolf rule, happiness was never meant for someone like Talia Vale. Yet when the wounded man she rescued became her husband, she dared to believe fate had finally shown her mercy. But on their wedding night, everything changed. He was a powerful werewolf leader who had lost his memory, and with it, the dangerous life waiting for him beyond the forest. Trusting his promise to protect her, she followed him into his pack, believing she had found safety. Instead, she found suffering. Despised for being human, hated by the she-wolves who wanted the Alpha for themselves, and crushed under endless humiliation, she quickly learned that love alone could not survive in a world built on power and blood. When tragedy struck and he failed to stand by her, the love in her heart turned into bitterness. She left him. But fate was not finished with them. No matter how much pain, hatred, and distance grew between them, the bond pulling them together refused to break. Through betrayal, misunderstandings, and battles that tested both heart and loyalty, Talia and Valik Blackthorne are forced to face the truth: sometimes love is born from pain, and sometimes the deepest hatred hides the strongest bond. In a world determined to tear them apart, they must fight through heartbreak, pride, and enemies on every side—or lose each other forever.

Wedding Canceled: I Caught the Perfect Affair

Wedding Canceled: I Caught the Perfect Affair

"No matter how carefully one hides and covers up, the truth will come out if fate wills it." The moment I confirm that Felix Johnson is really cheating on me, this trending post pops up on my phone. Calmly, I tap on it and open the comments section. Under a post titled "Infidelity", I continue typing away with icy fingers. "It's so ironic. A coworker casually takes a photo during a trip and posts it on social media. Out of thousands of people in the background, he and my best friend just happened to be caught in the frame. "Our wedding is only three days away. But now, I'm rushing over in the middle of the night to catch them in the act."

Ten Years His Cover—Now I'm Free

Ten Years His Cover—Now I'm Free

In my tenth year of marriage, my old childhood friend, Joshua Sears, posts a photo on social media. Both Joshua and my wife, Sabrina Lawson, are hugging his son, Andy Sears, and my daughter, Tiana Jenkins, in it. The four of them look very close to each other. The caption accompanying the post says, "Blessed to have the perfect son and daughter." I leave a comment below the post, saying, "Looking good together." A few seconds later, the post is deleted. The next morning, Sabrina rushes home and yells at me. "Ashton Jenkins! Joshua was finally feeling better for once. Why did you have to trigger him again?" Tiana shoves me hard and snaps in an accusatory tone, "It's all your fault that Andy's crying now!" I take out a copy of the divorce agreement and slam it down before them. "Yes, it's all my fault. That's why I'm stepping out of the picture now. Then, the four of you can form the wholesome family you've always wanted."

An English Writer

An English Writer

San Lin Tun
The novel is mainly about the forgotten British poet/writer named C. J Richards who lived in Burma/Myanmar in colonial times and he believed himself as a Burmophile. He served as I.C.S (Indian Civil Servant) and when he retired from I.C.S service, he was a D.C (District Commissioner) and he left for England a year before Burma gained its independence in 1948. He came to Burma in 1920 to work in civil service after passing the hardest I.C.S examination. He wrote several books on Burma and contributed many monthly articles to Guardian Magazine published in Burma from 1953 to 1974 or 1975. Though he wrote several books which had much literary merit to both communities, Britain and Burma (Myanmar), people failed to recognize him. The story has two parts: one part is set in the contemporary Yangon (then called Rangoon) in 2016 context and a young literary enthusiast named “Lin” found out unexpectedly the forgotten writer’s poetry book and there is surely a good deal of time gap that led him into a quest to know more about the author’s life. The setting is quite different comparing to colonial Burma and independence Myanmar (Burma), early twentieth century and 2016 which is a transitional period in Myanmar. The writer’s life is fictionalized in the novel and most of the facts are taken from his personal stories and other reference books. It is a kind of historical novel with a twist and it has comparatively constructed the two different periods in Myanmar history to convince readers, locally and abroad more about history, authorship, humanity, colonialism, and transitional development in Myanmar today.
