Malik plopped down beside me, looking way too energetic for someone who’d just spent hours skating.
“You’re in a weirdly good mood,” Malik said, giving me a suspicious squint. “What, somebody sneak you chocolate?”
Liam leaned over from the other bench, grinning. “Nope. That’s not chocolate energy. That’s… other energy.”
I shot them both a glare. “Don’t start.”
Malik smirked. “Oh, we’re starting. You’re glowing, Reyes. Like… post-orgasm glow.”
“Jesus Christ,” I muttered, shoving my water bottle at him. “Drink something, maybe you’ll hallucinate less.”
