My name was Charlie Collins. I had been married for eight years and had always worked from home as a freelancer. I rarely went out, mostly relying on online design gigs to bring in an income. Whoever draws the king picks two numbers, and they must do a dare." Everyone was clearly into it. One round later, Tiffany and Mervin got called. The king had them make out for two minutes in front of us and post it on their socials.

"So, what's your plan for the ninth prank?" "We'll pull off the ninth one at Caleb's wedding," Kevin crowed. "Just imagine it. Outside, I leaned against the wall and slowly slid down until I was crumpled on the floor. Pulling my knees close, I buried my face as silent sobs tore through me.

Complained enough yet?” Jenny and I both looked up to see Leon standing beside our table, hands in his pockets and an amused look on his face. “Leon,” Jenny exclaimed, clearly surprised. “Didn’t expect to see the CEO hanging around a café.” He smirked. “Even CEOs need coffee. But I could say the same for you – marketing doesn’t sleep, right?” Jenny chuckled, shaking her head. “Touché.” I blinked back my surprise away. “We were just… catching up,” I plastered on a convincing smile.

Gautam's POV My phone buzzed... Why was Prachi calling me all of a sudden? I went out of the house to take the call. " Hello?? Prachi ?" " Hi bhaiya, I just wanted to tell you... " She sounded a bit worried. I got tense and asked her while she was speaking. " What happened? " " Bhaiya, actually... Maurvi almost fainted today in the college. " " What ?? How? I yelped as a huge pulp of red, warm mess flung itself at me. Freya cackled like a hyena, almost falling over as the jack in a box mechanism she had concealed at the bottom of the metal pie dish bobbed around, spattering more strawberry mess to the floor. “Freya….I…” before I looked down at myself and broke into braying laughter, too. My torso was absolutely obliterated. It was a good job she took off my shirt. Except as she giggled, she edged towards me with fire in her eyes. “I loved reading your pranks, I think this one might be fit for the record books?”

I looked at him, gazing at the scar and his steel silver eyes that assessed me bore no emotion as usual and then I looked at the army and the two women a few paces away from me and I did what was best at the moment. I flared into deep, boisterous laughter, the type of laughter that made me want to clutch onto my belly despite my hands being tied and the type that made me want to roll on the floor while laughing cause this was the best birthday prank ever and grump was a damn good actor. _________________
