Premonición Romane & Geschichten

I love the action, or maybe I’m riding off the high from last night. Tomorrow I will get answers. Answers that I fear might only make more questions, and even if it doesn’t, I’m sure whatever answers I get might not be exactly what I want. I can’t shake the feeling that the truth will be shocking. It has to be. I’m blessed by the Five, and I never even knew it till recently. I have no idea why I have premonitions, and it’s unnerving to know that the dreams I thought merely coincidental were so much more than that. I suspected it, but to have it confirmed makes it too real.

I got shocked. “It is possible. I know it’s really hard to accept but you have them and it’s not a bad thing, Emily… You are getting a vision of things that are going to happen in future. You can see things before they happen. It’s like visual forms of premonitions, you know… So the thing happened with Josh or with that cab… It wasn’t something that you did. It was something that was going to happen anyway and you saw before it happened. You could have warned them about these events if you were aware of you power. So it is not bad, right? It is a good thing…” He explained and I kept looking at him.

I sigh and continue saying, “now tell me, what power did I unlock? Keep in mind that premonitions can happen in dreams, through touch, or when visiting new places. You will know you are having a premonition because it will violently take you out of what you are doing, feeling or thinking, and take you to an unknown place.” Hecate tells me. Artemis adds, “You must pay attention to everything around you. Mia must act as a recorder. This is extremely important, Emma. You must integrate yourself with her.”

A chill ran down my spine. If that was true, then whatever had happened to Viola was no small matter. The bond in my chest pulsed again. This time it was gentle. Almost like the touch of tiny fingers, not yet strong enough to grasp. I stopped again, my breath hitching. The thunder in my chest grew louder. “What is this?” I whispered, clutching my rapidly beating heart. Jacob answered in a voice barely above silence. “A premonition.” “A premonition of what?” I frowned, still confused.

It’s fair a feeling.” I shake my head. “Dark enchantment doesn’t grant us premonitions.” “But mating does,” Addison focuses out. “Even ordinary werewolves can sense when something’s happened to their mates. It’s a soul connection.”

Still, here I was, running through an unknown but known forest with the crimson-eyed predator running beside me. What did it mean? Something showed me this very night before it happened, as if in a warning. But a warning of what? The predator wasn't an enemy, this I knew for sure. I had no powers, and yet, I had this. This strange dream wasn't a dream but a premonition. If I had nothing else, I had this: the gift of sight. I knew I could trust this.
