I swallowed the heavy pressure the beast pushed against my chest, and answered, “Have you shown me all of you, Little One?” Piper blinked. “There isn’t much to me, Zander.” I chuckled. “I don’t think that’s true, but I’ll go first. I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.” She laughed, her voice echoed around us. “I don’t turn into a beast, and you’ve seen me without makeup, maybe I’ll tell you my deepest darkest secret one day.” “Deal,” I said. The beast shoved against me, pushing against my bones and frame, sending me to all fours. It only took seconds now, my body had become accustomed to the shift and welcomed it.

He was the devil that mothers warned their virgin daughters about. He was a Beast. A beast who ruled over all the beasts. He was the King of Beasts. Instead of replying her, he tangled his fingers in her golden mane, fisting them in his hand and yanked her back. She hissed through her teeth, watching him with a helpless expression. He had never seen her weak like this and his dead heart skipped a beat at her expression. He ran his eyes over her figure. She was still dressed in those cheap, ugly pajamas, he wanted to rip them off her beautiful body and bury her in the finest silk and jewels.

The old lady sighed and added, "Stress really makes people lose it. Young man, tell me about your floor plans. I'll consider getting one." Noir was speechless. "Ma'am, we're really not realtors." As Blanc explained, he pressed down an evil being lurking behind her. "Look, it's about to rain. Why don't you go over there where there's shelter?" The more living beings around, the harder it was for them to act. Not only was there celestial essence here, but they also seemed to sense the presence of primordial beasts. Solen backed away. “We shouldn’t go down there.” Kael stepped forward. “We don’t have a choice, do we?” I met Solen’s eyes. “What is it? Really.” He hesitated. “The First Beast was the Moon’s protector. Her guardian. But when she fell in love with a mortal, it tried to destroy him. She chained it beneath the world to protect us. It’s not evil, but it is primal. Pure. If it wakes fully… it could wipe out everything.”

James frowned and said, "Cut the cr*p already." "Yes, of course.” The creature nodded frantically and said, "Have you ever heard of the Celestial Ant Race?" James shook his head. He had never heard of this before. The creature explained, "Let's not be hasty, Mr. Caden. Allow me to provide you with an explanation." James looked at him and waited for his explanation. The creature said, "There were ten Superbeasts in the Primordial Age, also called the Ten Primordial Fiends. Both the Gorgers and the Celestial Ants were among the ten."

She could hear them whispering in a language she didn’t understand—but felt in her bones. She tried to move. A growl echoed through the void. Her head jerked up—eyes wide—and there it was. The Beast. Towering. Shrouded in shadow, but its eyes glowed like molten gold. Fur black as a void, horns curling like twisted bone, fangs glinting with something old and terrible. It was neither wolf nor man. It was something before both. Something primal. And it knew her. “I found you, Nyxara,” it rasped, its voice a bone-wracking purr, ancient and bitter.

“What hunts us is no ordinary shadow. It is one of the corrupt Primals—the Master of Evil himself. We thought we ended him once. We were wrong.” A collective inhale swept the room. Chelsea whispered, “corrupt Primal?” Grammy nodded. “Before gods and guardians, before packs and clans, there were the Primals—forces of the first world, unshaped and dangerous. When balance was set in place, many were bound or destroyed. But this one… he endured, waiting for the world to soften.” Her gaze drifted to the sleeping twins. “And now he knows. He knows the Balance has risen again. He knows the heirs of light and shadow walk this world.”

It reveled in this hunt, certain it could take me down in seconds. Dark smoke curled from its body, a hypnotic, paralyzing force. I knew enough about these dark beasts to understand what it was doing. The smoke was meant to weaken me. I dug deep into my Primal Essence, feeling my core energy flare like molten fire through my veins, pushing back against the dark haze. The beast hissed, recoiling slightly at my sudden surge. Its multicoloured eyes glinted sickly. It wasn’t used to prey fighting back so fiercely.

Ignoring their losses the orcs charged at the beast the beast returned their kindness as he jumped down from the cliffside to greet the deadmen below. Apex crashed into the earth unleashing a large cloud of dust as the orcs were baffled by the sheer amount of insanity of the warrior they faced when all of a sudden they all heard several high-pitched slithering from the smoke. The orcs readied themselves for battle when they saw a blade-like tail skewer them by the dozens with blinding speed ignoring their defenses. The beast much like a Primal Alpha Wolf the beast rampaged throughout the battlefield decimating the demonic forces at horrifyingly fast speed.

A collar of broken sigils hung from its massive neck, useless now that the beast had shattered whatever bound it. Kael’s entire body stiffened. Eira gasped and my heart lurched painfully against my ribs. The officer lifted a hand with deliberate calm. “Allow me to introduce the Prime Purge Wolf. It was designed for one purpose only.” His voice lowered into a chilling whisper. “To destroy your bloodline.” The Prime Beast lowered its head, focusing entirely on my stomach, its lips peeling back to reveal serrated teeth. Then it lunged toward me with catastrophic force, the ground splitting beneath its paws.
