Shama entered the gate, and all eyes were drawn to her. The beautiful pearls on her gown glistened, and the diamond set she wore perfectly complemented her outfit. The royal blue color of the gown exuded her royalty and elegance. A sparkling bracelet adorned her wrist, and a blue sapphire ring on her finger shone brightly in the light. Her eyes resembled those of a deer, with sharp corners like a knife. The dark kajal on her eyelids was like an arrow piercing everyone's hearts. Her eyes were deeper than an ocean, drowning anyone. Her eyebrows were like bows above her eyes. As Shama looked up to survey the crowd, everyone lost themselves in her gaze.

She must have a huge monster waiting for me for her to be so happy about this. “ Will you…fight in my place…” she turned towards our right, the only place I didn’t even bother looking at until now. “ Princess Lenora? ” My heart skipped a beat. "I will marry the king. Whatever delusion you're entertaining about your place here — let it go. You will never wed a man like him." Beatrice looked at me for a long moment. She didn't flinch. Didn't look away. She held my gaze with those sharp, infuriating eyes, and I couldn't tell whether the steadiness in them came from strength or from the fact that she simply didn't care anymore what I thought of her. Either way, it made me want to break something.

“And if you kiss me again, I will—” I arched a questioning eyebrow and smiled down into her upturned face. “You will what?” I enquired with interest. Beatrice inhaled. Maybe she realized that I had a good point. “Just don’t!” Not a threat likely to make me gibber in fear, but for me it was preferable to the more candid response of. Kiss you back! I watched her as she narrowed her eyes, and the emotions dancing in it. And it amuses me. She rolled her eyeballs ,and she’s struggled to keep her eyes on my face. But in her eyes, there was no trace of surprise , only a cold, gleaming triumph. A victorious smile lingered just beneath her polite, refined mask; subtle enough that no one else in the room would catch it, yet unmistakable to Lyra. The challenge in her gaze was laid bare, clear as day. “You see it, don’t you? It’s right here. And there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Everything you ever loved rests safe in the palm of my hand.”

She frowned, and put her head down on the table, and closed her eyes for a moment. Dimitri and Pete walked through the door, Pete went to work on the soup, Ivan whispered to Dimitri about her arms. He looked over but said nothing. Pete cleared this throat, and Jade looked up. Her eyes a pale gray, almost white startled him he dropped the bowl of soup shattering the bowl when it hit the ground. He broke his stare, and grabbed a cloth, “My apologies you're eyes aren't as gray as they used to be. It’s almost a pale white,” he whispered.

Naturally, he could tell that she was not too well. She look pale and there was dark circle around her eyes. Her white eyes were slightly red and she looked weak.

Vess yelled. It was loud enough to make it her hear because we can't see Beatrice's face in the making-our back was on her side. I know it's going to be a long day, I am kind of worried about going to the mines, I don’t know how Abby is going to feel when she gets to see Marcus, hell I don’t know how I am going to feel about seeing him.
