Meet us there if you can't find us here," Scarlet nodded and smiled at the people before leaving, disappearing around the hall as she asked the servers for the restroom, Scarlet sighed relief as she found it, after walking further and further away from the main hall. She pushed the doors and made her way inside, finding it empty. She went over to the toilet and did her business before stepping out but halted for a second as she found a man pinning a feminine male figure in a serving outfit on the wall while kissing down his neck.

He opened the door afterwards. "What took you so long to open the door?" Scarlet frowned. She stood at the door with her hands falling to her side while she hung her mini classic flap shoulder bag on her shoulder. She didn't make a move forward immediately. She stood on the same spot and her eyes surveyed Ethan's office. Then, she walked in afterwards.

But opposites attract, so despite her stupidity, I am deeply attracted to her. Scarlet is not an idiot. She just doesn’t have an interest in studying, but in this world, being intelligent does not equate to being street-smart. Intelligence Quotient and Emotional Intelligence are two different measures. The fact she ran into poor company while attempting to discover the reason behind the death of her friend did not mean she was stupid. She just didn’t realise the true face behind the mask, trusting others too easily. Even after becoming a pawn and a tool for men to relieve their desires, she still continued to allow others in her life, even if it was just for a night.
