Now, she was falling asleep while listening to a voice she had chosen to trust. Aurora reached the middle of the page. She felt the child’s breathing become deep and rhythmic. "The wolf decided to go home," Aurora whispered. She closed the book quietly. She began to pull her hand away from the pillow. Lily stirred. Her eyes did not open. She was caught in the heavy, drifting space of the first stage of sleep. "Mama, that's not how the story goes," Lily murmured. Aurora went perfectly still. The air in the room vanished.

~Samantha Lee~ The ceiling in my new bedroom was a vast, unforgiving white. I'd counted 1,472 imaginary sheep, named every state capital alphabetically, and mentally replayed the final three seconds of last season's championship game at least fifty times. Still, sleep was a luxury I apparently no longer deserved.

He was in his own universe, headphones covering his ears and glasses perched on his nose. The man observed him following closely behind, scoffing at the situation and how he was asked to follow his tiny child who could hardly tie his shoe laces in a proper knot but he could hardly question the boss and so he followed, making sure not to be noticed all though he wondered if the boy would even notice an earthquake with the way he had buffed himself up with so many devices.

i said while she nodded. "Baa, baa, black sheep," i said "Baba black ship" she repeated. "Ship nhi baby sheep" i corrected. "Ship" she said "No...sheeepp....stretch your eeee while saying ship" i said "Say again, ba ba black sheep" i repeated "Baa baa black sheeeep" she said sheep while showing her teeth in full display. I chuckled. "Have you any wool?" I continued "Have you many fool"? She said.

Dear readers, Book one of Sheep in Wolf Clothing is finally over, and I want to thank everyone who read the book and engaged in it. I also want to thank most of my readers for their friendly comments. They kept me going. However, I will start book two right away, and I know you are all excited to know what happens next in the story. Before you read book two, there are a few things I would like you to note. Writers are humans, and your comments or anything you do to their work affect them either positively or negatively. As much as criticism is accepted, no one would like their works to be demeaned so much.

Gosh, it's already morning. I hurriedly looked for the television, and I found the clock on the nightstand showing 7 am. What time did I sleep, and how many sheep did I count? I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep. 'You counted to 1902 sheep.' My wolf voice echoes in my head. 'I can't sleep well because your mind is so noisy.' I grimaced. 'I'm sorry, Ilona. Finally, I can count sheep to a thousand plus, but I can't remember.'
