“Remember your names.” The black collars shattered. The forgotten tombs erupted with blue light. Scene 126: Warriors of the Deep Names filled the chamber. Not spoken by one voice. Thousands. They rolled across the stone in a rising wave. Talren of Moon Reef. Sera Vale of the Eastern Current. Mako Ren. Liora Stormhand. Packs erased from banners returned through sound. Symbols appeared across the warriors’ armour. Silver shells. White fins. Crescent waves. Wolves crowned with coral.

As we descended into the subterranean colosseum, the noise became overwhelming. Two thousand warriors filled the stone tiers of the cavern. These were the Shadow Warriors—the battle-scarred outcasts of the Dead Woods. They were alphas, betas, and omegas who had been rejected by their birth packs, criminals who had survived the brutal winter wilderness, and veterans of forgotten border wars. They didn't wear uniforms; they wore heavy furs, iron chains, and leather straps over bodies covered in jagged claw scars. They were savage, and radiated a volatile pressure.

"Time to wake up, rebel," a singsong voice echoes in the alpha's main room of the Redwood Wolves pack. The curtain is drawn back abruptly, allowing the full splendor of the sunlight to flood the spacious area. Today is a clear day, perfect for celebrating the Luna ceremony and the wedding of the pack leaders. Selene stirs in bed, lazily. She is still exhausted from last night but calm and, in a way, sated. "Just a little more, I'm sleepy," Selene murmurs, covering her head with the blanket.

You always have been.” He held up his arm, showing me a fresh tattoo inked onto his forearm. A beautiful phoenix with its wings spread in mid-flight as it stood in flames.

The orange tom gave a nod and flicked his tail, gesturing for those who were available for battle to join them. He watched with interest as smoky black tom with yellow eyes emerged from the crowd. A muscular black tom with powerful back legs followed, along with a gray she-cat with darker gray paws. While they looked as if they had seen better days, Flamestrike also noticed they were more than ready for this fight. "Thorntalon, Lightningstrike, Frozenfoot and Wrenflight are the strongest warriors I can spare," Emberstar explained, "Along with Birchpelt." He nodded to his deputy, who padded forward and touched Birdpaw's muzzle with her own.

“From today onwards, Kieran is the new Luna of our pack and you will all treat her with the respect she deserves” One by one, I watched their heads bow in reverence. It was supposed to feel nice but it didn't. I ignored the holes that Sabrina was burning into my head. If I thought this was somewhat over, then clearly I was just being delusional.

That tattoo belonged to enforcers of the otherworldly access office. They were a pack that grants and denies access in-between the two worlds. They were given the nickname; The Harbingers. But Elijah’s was different. There was a Crescent moon that was among the waves near his collar. On his forearm there was a wolf howling. I swallowed my cry as I realized whose lap I was straddling. Every Harbinger had a specific tattoo but only one of them had a wolf. The leader of the pack; their Alpha. Elijah was the Alpha of the Enforcers.
