Ariane’s POV One day, as I sat on the porch, listening to the gentle whisper of the wind, memories of Leon came flooding back to me. Images of memories flashed through my mind—days of vision during our marriage that quickly turned into moments of tension. I took a deep breath, trying to push the images away. I relaxed for a few minutes before washing my body. After about twenty minutes, I got out of the tub and wrapped the large plush towel on the counter around my waist. I then grabbed my toiletry bag and headed into the bedroom. I dried my body and changed into the clothes at the end of the bed. There was a pair of pink terry cloth shorts with ‘Bride’ written across the butt in white and a white t-shirt with the same word written across the front in pink. As well as underwear. On the floor was a pair of pink and white flip-flops.
