Sorry, Too Late

Sorry, Too Late

"No… No…" Penelope and the others' minds were on the verge of snapping. They had used everything they had, every last card. This was the end. Only now did they understand that nothing else mattered in the face of absolute power. Just then, a lone figure slowly approached them. There was no one behind him. And yet, the four prodigies felt like an army was marching with him. Their minds had already gone blank under that overwhelming pressure. At this point, even despair felt like too small a word.

Betrayed, I Become The CEO'S Contracted Bride

Betrayed, I Become The CEO'S Contracted Bride

"How do you tell the subject from the prodigy." "The prodigy accelerates and stays human." She pulled the four benchmark lines onto the wall and stacked them. "A gifted fourteen-year-old climbs, then plateaus, then climbs again — they hit walls, get bored, fall in love, lose a term to something stupid. The line is alive. It wobbles." She traced the first profile. "This one wobbles. Dipped two quarters ago, recovered. That's a person." "And the subject?"

Mind Reading Isn't So Good After All

Mind Reading Isn't So Good After All

Instead, she turned to look at me. I kept my head down, thinking, "Yvette clearly is just worried about Mom going back to the company and getting in the way of her escapades with Dad. Ugh, they're like two dogs in heat! They couldn't even wait to get a room. Don't they know that the office has a surveillance camera? "And what did she mean by mental illness? It was Dad who drugged Mom and forced her to leave the company. Later, Yvette found her a quack who claimed to be a traditional medicine practitioner. He had no license and prescribed prescriptions that only worsened her condition.

The Protégé

The Protégé

"Yang Xiao, just admit defeat! Isn't it just admitting defeat in front of all the netizens in the world? There's nothing to be embarrassed about!" “I don’t have your perverted hobby. I like to lose face everywhere,” Yang Xiao shook his head with a calm expression. “I never admit defeat!” Park Suhyeong spoke disdainfully, “I have 100% confidence in winning this game of Go. You have no chance of winning!” Yang Xiao did not even raise his brows as he asked, “That means that Park Junxian is also one of the losers in chess?” “What nonsense are you talking about? My brother, Park Junxian, is a once-in-five-thousand-year chess prodigy, how can he lose?” He immediately realized that something was wr

I get the holidays are here and it can make things a little hectic. But all the more reason to try and get those chapters out ahead of time as we all would like to continue reading. However at this rate it seems you may lose followers of the book and the money you get by them supporting your novel.

The Billionaire Who Thought I Was Blind

“Fewer outbursts. Fewer drastic life changes. More… consistent productivity.” “These are not interchangeable,” I said. “I know that,” he snapped. “Now.” Silence pressed in. “Dominion pitched you an immune system for ‘bad choices,’” I said. “You built one that treats desire itself like a pathogen.” He flinched. “Do you want to help us fix it?” I asked. He laughed, short and hysterical. “Fix it?” he said. “You think we can just… turn it off? All those people already went through the protocol. Their models are live. Self‑updating. I can’t roll back their brains.”

Guardians of the Hex

“An fellow student has complained about your treatment towards Zinhle Mbule. You have been spreading disgusting rumors about her and that type of behaviour is unacceptable here. If I or any other guardian finds any of you spreading filth about one another, you will all be expelled from this program and your memories wiped of this place and if you attempt or reveal the secrecy of the GOH, you will be incarcerated and those you have revealed the secret to will have their memories wiped about the GOH and about your existence as in they will never know that you ever existed, like you were never born “stated Mr Phenyo. The students looked terrified, they neither smiled nor coughed. The class was

All For You, Daddy

All For You, Daddy

Funny enough, the reason I haven't found unconditional love yet is I'm never wrong. And that really puts people off. No one wants to love a know-it-all unconditionally. I've been called a prodigy since I could walk. By the time I hit puberty, I was already taking college courses and acing them. Of course, this thrilled my parents to no end. I would be able to take over the family business sooner than later. They could retire early and trot the globe rekindling their marriage. Which is why I find myself alone in the top floor of a massive packing and shipping facility, looking down on hundreds of employees rushing around to fulfill orders. It's why I find myself alone at night in my house. Sc

Mindreader in a Nightmare Game

Mindreader in a Nightmare Game

Words fired out at machine-gun speed. "Why is the human looking at me? Does she like me? Does she hate me? Does she like or hate me? Why is she still circling me? "Will she nuzzle me? Can I nuzzle her? Does she like me? Does she hate me? What—" Her thoughts were annoyingly loud and chaotic. I pretended to circle her a few more times, but mentally, I was drowning in her psychic high-speed rambling. Rather than overthinking, I decided to go on the offensive and deploy some cunning tricks.

My Rival My lover

My Rival My lover

“This isn’t about my performance, is it?, i feel this is personal.” For the first time, the prodigy’s cocky demeanor faltered. I caught it, a flicker of something in his eyes, something that felt eerily familiar. My heart skipped a beat as I stared at him. The curve of his jaw, the way his lips tightened ever so slightly… I had seen him before. It was not a mistake. The prodigy is someone I have seen. That's the reason for his unfair treatment. But where? The familiarity hit me like a tidal wave, yet I couldn’t place it. My head spun, torn between my anger and the strange sense of recognition. But before I could dig deeper into the feeling, the prodigy leaned forward, his voice cold and shar

The grammar isn't great, so I almost gave up on this book, but I decided to stick with it, and I'm glad I did. There were so many twists that it wasn't what I expected at all. The plot moves quickly, and the characters will keep you on your toes. Definitely worth reading!
