Isla’s POV I froze. I definitely wasn’t affected by his words. But then goosebumps lined my skin. Heat built low in my belly and my thighs clenched together instinctively. If I wasn’t affected by his dirty way of talking, why then was my body betraying me? I cleared my throat. “You are my professor sir and I’m nothing but a student. I don’t think there’s anything I would be able to offer you.” I completely ignored the part where he mentioned the night before.

Leaning in, his warm breath brushed my ear. “Since you want it, I have a special one right here. It’s pure meat, it’s a generous portion, and it will fill you up.” With that, he unfastened his belt. “Professor! Professor, this is inappropriate!” I reached out in terror to push him away, only for him to pin my hands above my head. “What's inappropriate about it?” he murmured, biting my earlobe lightly. “They call me a wolf in sheep's clothing anyway… So whatever I feed you now fits the character perfectly.”

“Good morning, class. I’m Sebastian Wolfe, your new history professor.” My head snapped up, my heart stopping. There, at the podium, stood Sebastian—my Sebastian. His dark brown hair was neat, his green eyes piercing, his black blazer hugging his broad shoulders. He was impossibly handsome, his presence commanding, but his gaze found mine, and shock flashed across his face, mirroring my own. My mouth went dry, my notebook slipping from my hands. The man I’d fucked last night, the stranger who’d claimed my virginity, was my professor. And I was his student.

It was no wonder she had been drawn to the Moonlight Festival - it was steeped in tradition and ancient rituals. As the professor continued to speak, Ren’s resolve solidified. I watched the exchange closely, and I could clearly see that the boy's calm, confident words had slightly destabilized Valen, even though he didn't let it show to his enemies. The fact that Onyx was so willing and eager to fight Valen was terribly bad news. It was blindingly obvious to both parties present that Valen held the upper hand in terms of age, experience, and even muscle build. There had to be something that Onyx was relying on, or some hidden trick he knew that we didn't know yet.

October ignored her to continue explaining. "And to be honest, Onyx killed his bride out of anger but then did all he could by going to witches and wizards to bring her back. In his quest, he only gained power which caused him to lose sight of his original plan. That was how he found out about the darkness and all who has it." October told them. "Holy gods." Amanda let out.

Chris spun around as if he were looking for something or someone. “You can come out now,” he shouted, “I’m sure you all got a great fucking laugh from trying to fool the famously gullible Christopher Red.” James blew out a heavy breath before the sound of snapping and rearranging bones echoed through the dense forest. Where a man once stood was replaced by the magnificent beast that is Onyx. His deep, almost black fur shined under the rays of sunlight, showing off their lighter brown tips.

No names. Just a stranger who helped me forget for one night. On Monday morning, I’m five minutes late to Renaissance Art, the elective I’m only taking because David said it would “round out my CV.” I quietly sit in the back row, avoiding everyone’s eyes. My whole body feels tired, and my heart feels empty. The professor is writing on the board with strong, sure strokes, his back turned. “Professor Mateo Sandoval” a student called. He turns around, about to answer the student and our eyes meet.

I swallow as I look into his eyes. “Proof of what?” “Proof that I am not a virgin?” His eyes were totally dark. Dominant professor was back.

Seriously, what is happening to me? He turned around and walked to the whiteboard. He started writing on it after picking up the marker. I moved my head down. I don't want to look at him. He is making me crazy. "Oh, my god, Inaya. Our English professor is so hot." Anu whispered in my ear. "You can date him. I'm giving you the green signal." I glared at him instantly. She is saying nonsense. "What? Don't you find him hot?" She asked, raising her brows in shock. I think she has lost her mind. He is indeed hot but that doesn't mean I'll date my professor.
