Cain begins to feel irritated looking at Onyx acting all formal. “Stop acting politely and all formal. It’s disgusting.” Cain says abruptly. Onyx loses his patient and stares at him fiercely. He is boiling with anger. Suddenly, his suit is steaming and gas emits throughout his body. Then, a crimson fire burns the entire suit and traces to his hair. When the fire has burnt out, Onyx appearance has changed. He’s wearing a black hooded-singlet, a black trouser with chain hanging from one of the pocket, and a pair of black leather boots with belts strap all over it. His iris shifts from amber to electric blue.

Ophelia timidly asked and saw how his eyes filled with grief. “I’m sorry, baby. I don’t think I will be able to. Your mother said he was rouge and I don’t think anyone will be able to track him down.” Onyx said as his hand cupped one side of her face and she nodded her head. “I understand.” A moment passed by and she looked up. “Does that mean I’m a half werewolf?” She excitedly asked and Onyx smiled. “No wonder you are so strong. I can still feel the pain from your kick.” Onyx shuddered remembering her kick and Ophelia laughed. She rested her head on his chest and snuggled into him. His hand soothingly stroked her back as he held her close.

I pleaded to her, tired and completely drained of energy. She huffed, producing a large sound, but didn’t let her guard down. I saw Onyx shifting into his human form, and I blushed harder. It wasn’t that I hadn’t seen him naked before, but seeing him now made me not only blush but also drool. She snorted in satisfaction while looking at our mate from head to toe. He was one fine specimen of a human with features of sculptures of Greek Gods. I felt as if I was seeing him for the first time. The perfectly thick and long neck meeting ended at a voluminous and symmetrical chest with a perfect shape of muscles, forming a straight line in the middle, which ended at the ripped eight-pack abs.

I was expecting some mysterious creature to jump out at me every time I went around a bend. Onyx growled in frustration within my mind. She knew we were heading straight into the territory of our enemy and she wanted to go in with claws and teeth rather than with me driving a car.
