Wings of Payback

Wings of Payback

Then, I took out an A3 paper from the briefcase and spread it across the table. It was a curved flight path, overlapping on the city map. "This is the flight path of the Cessna with the registration number B-10YZ between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm on the same day. This aircraft…" I stared at him. "…is owned by Zach Airways." A flicker of tension crossed Zachary's face. Under the light, his face turned as pale as a sheet as he swallowed hard. Mike fixed his eyes on the two documents for a long time before he gradually raised his head. "Mr. Zachary, this weather report…"

Shadow Wolves

Shadow Wolves

Chloe adjusted the neckline of the sheer black body for what felt like the umpteenth time since putting it on and let out a shaky breath in an attempt to settle her nerves. The dressing room was empty of life except for her but she could not only hear but feel the heavy bass of music thumping and vibrating through the walls from the club. She had only caught a glimpse of what was going on out on the main floor but it seemed busier than usual for a Monday night. It was almost as if every male wolf from this pack and the next had crowded in and was now taking up as much space as possible leaving little room for the girls to move around. Unsurprisingly, Alpha Nathaniel was in his usual booth, s

Divorced and Runaway: Mr. CEO Wants Me Back

Divorced and Runaway: Mr. CEO Wants Me Back

But the bottom drawer was locked. I frowned, then reached into my bag for the small master key that worked on all company drawers — a failsafe from when Jessica and I launched Velvet Vibe. I turned the lock slowly. Click. Inside was a sleek black flash drive. Taped to the side was a small label in Wendy’s handwriting: Project Obsidian Bloom My stomach turned. That was the code name for our next big launch — a product line so secret even half of our team didn’t know the full scope of it yet. Only Jessica, Wendy, and I had been privy to the core plans.

Crave Me,Kill Me

“I planned for you to save yourself first.” He went quiet. Then: “How much of this did Nova help you pull?” “Too much,” she said. “And she nearly died for it.” Cassian nodded again. “Then we don’t wait.” Aria narrowed her eyes. “You’re ready to bring it down now?” “I’m ready to start the bleed.” She leaned forward slightly. “What’s our first strike?” Cassian’s jaw tightened. “Elena’s back channel the one she used to initiate Project Blackbird. It’s not scrubbed. Just dormant.”

Alpha Rex.

Alpha Rex.

“It begins.” He handed the note to Ash as the Beta approached, murmuring instructions in low, rapid tones. Orders rippled outward instantly, warriors moving, messengers dispatched. Blackthorn shifted gears. She watched it all, heart pounding, not with fear, but with clarity. This wasn’t a cage. It was a front line. Rex turned back to her. “You’ll move to the inner wing today. Fewer access points. More eyes.” “And my choices?” she asked. He met her gaze evenly. “Still yours. Just better protected.”

Black Wings

Black Wings

Ravi slammed the door behind him and was startled to find Adrian floating by the window, his wings flapping, hands folded across his chest, wearing a smug expression. He knew all too well that this creature was the one responsible for the chaos Ravi had just experienced. Ravi quickly moved to the window, fists clenched in anger, a sharp gaze directed at him with disapproval. He opened the window with a loud creak. "You're the problem here."

Broken Wings

His eyes scanned the same pages for the third time, hunting for cracks in the façade. Riko funneled his income through Dusktide Holdings—a shell corp that “owned” Red Velvet and a few other nightspots on the east side. Reyes had circled one: The Glasshouse—a high-end club where the rich pretended not to see the trafficking. Then there were the deposits. All four men had made cash deposits at the same Dusktide bank branch—same week, same pattern. Different accounts. But the amounts? Nearly identical. All had burner phones pinged near the same off-grid compound.

Wingless and Beautiful

The door opened to a small room with a huge screen in the center wall. “Voice command activated. Welcome, Hunter Vaughn,” the computer said. “One of the perks of being blind. They automatically activate voice command option for you,” Hunter whispered against my ear and I couldn’t help laughing. “Let’s sit.” I pulled Hunter to sit in one of the cozy couches in front of the screen. “Game,” he said loudly, commanding the computer. “What game do you want to play today, Hunter?” the computer asked. “Chess. Two players. Hunter Vaughn, black side. Player two, white side.”

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.
