In the Nightwing pack, Alpha Warrenton was caught pacing around in his chamber deep inside his castle. He held resentment in his eyes and hate. His movement wasn't certain yet, but the aura emanating from him was enough to warn whosoever would want to cross paths with him this instant. His fingers were curled into a fist, and he dug his claws inside his skin drenched in anger. It was building up inside him and already he wasn't sure if there would be anything that could soothe it except one thing-the head of his enemy.

“What? Both of you are from Wolfenden Corp.!?” Gibson was offended. How had Nigel lost his job? It was because he had given Dickinson International to Sadie Wolfenden. When he took over Nigel’s place, his first task was to pass the project to someone else. Despite that, he was later notified that the project was passed back to Wolfenden Corp., and that infuriated him because it caused the bigshot to berate him even when he knew that the latter was only venting on him and did not mean to blame him.

“Dad, I want to do what I enjoy. You will support me, right?” He paused, then smiled. “Of course I will.” The phone on the table started ringing. He saw that it was a foreign number, so he put it to his ear. “Mr. Knowles?” Tristan said something to him, and Anthony frowned. “You want to withdraw from the project?” “Yes, but don’t worry, Yorrick has taken over the project. I’m sure the project will be successful with him around.” After Tristan had a short chat with him and they hung up, he didn’t recover.

"Better than okay. The dance with Damien peaked the heat but we got out. The council wanted us rogues. Now we have their biggest secret. Project Phoenix will burn them." I held her close as the van sped on. "It will. The masquerade gave us cover. The tension gave us fire. Now we fight with truth on our side." Conversations flew fast the whole ride. Plans formed. Bonds tightened. The heist succeeded but the real war just started. Project Phoenix was the match. We would light the fuse.

Pretty much what I expected. Still, they were taking more heat-after all, they were tied to Crescent and Sunfang Tribes, major players with reputations to protect. I only had to worry about myself. While scrolling, I skipped past those fake-concern messages that were just probing for gossip. But then I came across something from Natalie, my ex-subordinate and the project team lead. My thumb froze. She'd messaged three days ago saying the joint project between Crescent and Sunfang Tribes hit a snag. The Sunfang side's loan got frozen-by Shadow Bank.

But before I could explore this newfound vulnerability further, he squared his shoulders, his mask of control firmly back in place. "Let's focus on the immediate threat," he said, his voice businesslike. "We need to figure out who's behind this and what they want with Project Nightingale." "Project Nightingale?" I echoed, the name stirring a faint flicker of memory in the recesses of my mind. "Isn't that…?" The image flashed before my eyes – a stark lab filled with high-tech equipment, a team of scientists huddled around a glowing holographic display. And then…nothing. Just a frustrating wall of fog.

Nick came to meet me and asked me to meet his pack because he said we are going to stay there for a few days after our marriage so I went to meet the members of his pack. His pack's name is Blue Stone Pack. It is a little away from the city side and the place is green and beautiful. I met his Alpha first. His name is Atlas Myles Rozell and he was so curt and emotionless that I shivered as soon as he looked back into my eyes. His eyes were emotionless. But surprisingly he turned out to be Nick's childhood friend along with Scott— his beta friend and Thomas, his second Beta friend. Wow, I thought Nick had no friends but he proved me wrong.

“Nah, man, I’m Night Wing. I guess that makes you Aquaman.” Micah shrugs, “Wait then, who is Priest?” I give them all a straight face. “I don’t know. How about The Flash?” Connor shakes his head. “Nah, he’s too broody, so he would be, The Green Arrow, and Corbin is the Flash.” Micah snickers. “So that’s settled, Gideon is Cyborg, and Dragon can be Hawk Man. But then again, maybe we’re more like Marvel characters since there are more of us.” He raises his hand playfully. “I vote to be Captain America.”
