Infatuated Desire

Infatuated Desire

And on that, Wadan's smile on his face disappear at that moment. He can't make her get away from himself by telling the truth. Never. "Hadia, will you make a promise to me?" Ignoring what she said, he wants to take a promise from her. For a long, he wants to take this promise from her. "What kind of promise, Wadan?" She was gazing at him unknowingly. And on that, not only his tone changed suddenly but also the color from his face drained. "Hadia you just promise to me no matter what the circumstances are and no matter how angry you are with me. Don't go leaving me alone ever."

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

Not as a burden. As an invitation. And somewhere beyond memory, beyond the dream, beyond all the cycles that had once defined reality— a promise lingered. Not written in a book. Not protected by Pillars. Not guarded by ancient systems. A simple promise carried by ordinary people every day. The promise that no matter how difficult today became— someone, somewhere, would choose tomorrow. And as Ama walked toward the city, toward her friends, toward another ordinary evening— she felt something she hadn't felt in countless lifetimes.

Moon's Betrayal

Moon's Betrayal

It was the only way to save her and our family. “I promise, but you must also promise not to take any unnecessary risks. Don’t try and be the fucking hero. You would do anything to save people even if it were a detriment to yourself. For me, for Xander, for our family, and certainly for our future, you must swear to us that you won’t try to be the hero.” There was a fierce determination in her eyes when she looked at me before looking at Xander as well. “I swear to you, mates,” she promised, and we knew that she would never break that promise. She was a woman of her word.

The Female Alpha's Human Mate

The Female Alpha's Human Mate

Warriors patrolling land that still belongs to us. My fingers stop trembling. This is what worthy looks like. Standing alone on a rooftop with guilt in your throat and choosing the pack anyway. It doesn't change anything. I'm still angry at the goddess. Others are still struggling. But the border stands. And my father’s promise stands with it. “I did what I had to,” I whisper. The wind carries it away. Even if it costs me more than anyone will ever know.

The Forbidden Promise

The Forbidden Promise

After some stretches, he teaches Eileen some ways to prevent her from being hurt by someone. “Why can’t I use my promise?” She asked. “ You can’t use your promise to an outsider, it's against the law of our world. Like outside we have leaders but the strongest leader is unknown. They say he has a family and he’s living as an outsider but we don’t know what promise he had, no one knew who he was and no one saw him fight in battle.” Eileen answered with a yawn, he chuckled seeing that side of her.

A Reluctant Promise

A Reluctant Promise

No one understood better than he did that when a person became utterly heartbroken, the weight of accumulated disappointment could crush everything. He had already wasted five days. Delaying any longer would reduce the already slim chances of reconciliation even further. So, despite everyone’s advice, he boarded the plane. After landing in Tarvos, his assistant sent over the address they had managed to track down. Dominic and Samson headed straight there. They knocked on the door several times without getting any response. It seemed she wasn’t home. The two men stood at the apartment entrance, waiting from noon until sunset. Just as the sky turned golden with the approach of evening, they fi

His Promise: The Mafia's Babies

His Promise: The Mafia's Babies

“Don’t call her a whore, don’t roll your eyes at her, don’t throw a drink on her, don’t disrespect her, don’t walk away, don’t look at her the wrong way-“ “Wait a second!” I told him as his words were going too fast. “Don’t worry, I’ll be there with you, and this time I’ll immediately defend you.” He reassured me. This time I trusted his words a bit more because he did not promise me something and usually a promise didn’t end well for Christian.

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

It was a path of uncertainty but also one pregnant with potential. Drawing a steadying breath filled with stone and secrets, I forged ahead, determination fueling each step. As I pressed forward, leaving behind a city on the brink, my resolve solidified, no longer just a promise but an oath: For Sarah, for the dragons, for the kingdom echoes beyond the walls—I would see this done. No matter the cost.

I'm glad i stuck it out. yes, the book is long, and at times, it does drag on, but what the author did, they did justice to the story itself. unlike most books, the endings are always a letdown. this author knew how to conclude it. continued in comments

It is a long book but I didn’t feel like it dragged out because it was so full of details and the author made sure to tie up any loose ends so it didn’t leave you wondering. Will definitely be sticking around for the fantasy version of it.
