The Millionaire's Bride

The Millionaire's Bride

The white-capped waves that crashed along the jagged cliffs had lulled her to sleep each night, and the terrace where she read her devotionals in the mornings provided the perfect view of the Mediterranean Sea. Alexa had awoken with the sun each morning on their vacation. Jetlag and the changes in her schedule were distracting enough to send her stirring at an earlier hour than Salvatore, so she used the time to study Scripture. She and Salvatore had taken a few journeys into the nearby towns, and although they had no neighbors to observe, she knew the villages were waking with the dawn. Pulling her blanket tighter around her shoulders, she stared at the passage before her. Proverbs 28:13 re

I enjoyed each of the sweet stories. However, I am not sure how the characters of Gabe and Celina in story two became Brian and Leah in story three while all the other characters, including their daughter, kept the same names.

The story in the introduction is Chapters 1-24. Then it’s different stories with new characters (Ch 25-55; 56-84; 85-117). Love how the relationships developed between Alexa & Salvatore / Celina & Gabe / Sara & Ian / Camille & Noah. Love how God, prayer, and faith were emphasized in each story.

Samarth explained, "which is essential for our journey. We cannot navigate without clarity, can we? The Word grants understanding to the simple. And Joshua, as a leader, required discernment and wisdom in all his endeavors. After all, he was guiding a nation to the Promised Land." Samarth's eyes sparkled with conviction. "The words spoken by God are full of the Spirit and life, as the apostle John wrote. You see, my sister, the Word of God is incorruptible, for it proceeds from God Himself, making it refined and flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times."

LOOM OF THORNS

LOOM OF THORNS

MARY’S POV "The spiritual man judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man." (1 Corinthians 2:15) The air in the room was thick with the scent of cheap air freshener and disinfectant; the heat of five bodies packed into a space meant for two hung in the air. I sat at the head of the circle, my Bible open to the Book of Proverbs. My phone vibrated continuously inside my denim skirt pocket.

The Nun's Vow To The Devil

The Nun's Vow To The Devil

My breath caught. "I'm not asking you to volunteer," she continued smoothly. "I'm simply observing that you have a choice to make. The Bible tells us to love thy neighbor as thyself. To bear one another's burdens. Galatians 6:2—'Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.'" She opened a drawer, pulling out a leather-bound Bible. Her fingers traced the gold-edged pages.

Awkward Marriage

Awkward Marriage

Why couldn’t he do that with her? He put the book in his briefcase and took out the Bible instead. He wasn’t sure what to do about George. That young man didn’t have good business sense. What am I to do about him? He turned to the book of Proverbs because it contained a great deal of wisdom. He used it on a regular basis as a guide for his life. Not that he didn’t read other books of the Bible, but this particular book had the most influence in his business dealings. He credited it with his success. He read the entire book during the next half hour. It wasn’t a long book and it was easy to read. He also stumbled upon the answer to his question. It came from Proverbs 23:9. Do not s

THE LYCAN KING AND HIS HUNTED LUNA

THE LYCAN KING AND HIS HUNTED LUNA

"A bird with one wing cannot fly. It teaches us the importance of balance and unity. We must find harmony within ourselves and with others, just like a bird needs both its wings to soar gracefully through the heavens." As the proverbs settled in Agnes' mind, she felt a newfound appreciation for the wisdom of nature and the interconnectedness of all living beings. "Thank you, Baba Tunde," she said, grateful for the teachings. "These proverbs have opened my eyes to a deeper understanding of life and its mysteries." Baba Tunde nodded, his ancient eyes filled with pride. "You are welcome, my dear. The wisdom of the birds has guided humanity for generations. Embrace their teachings, and you will

He took out his bible and read a passage there. "Psalm 82:1-5: 1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 'How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.' 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken."

The Alpha's Cure

The Alpha's Cure

She hurries and looks away, then finds a seat on the opposite side of the room. Strange, but I don't overthink it. Ellie enters and does the same thing. Relieved, I settle in my seat, but Paige enters. After panning the crowd, she finds me and sits next to me. "Good morning, Paige." "Morning, Ajay." Katrina greets, "Good morning, women of God. Please turn to Proverbs 17. Verse one reads, Better is a dry morsel with quietness than a house full of feasting with hatred."

“Let us share joys and pains. Let us walk together so we get wealth.” The priest was enchanting Mantras in Sanskrit and Myra was saying in short as her promise, "This is for FAMILY." “Let us not forget parents and elders. Let us walk together so we get happiness by sharing our joys and sorrows. "The fifth one is the promise of PROGENY, “Let us observe all acts of charity. Let us walk together so we have a family." The sixth one is the vow of HEALTH, “Let us live a long and peaceful life. Let us walk together so we have joy."
