My magic was fighting its way through the haze, trying to come up to the surface so I could use it to defend myself. What was shit was it was the kind of drug meant to subdue supernaturals who were out of control. Many shifters during their first shift were given a small dose to help with the sudden change and all of the emotional turmoil that came with it. But when used in large quantities, the properties of it changed from subduing to acting like ecstasy on steroids. A mind blowing realm yet frightening greeted the three of them, brightness was bellow their feats and the abyss is up above, in a round table three shadows was sitting in frond of each other, while three snakes without skin surround them like when an anaconda surround its pray, then those snakes began to melt in those shadow while in the process a squeaking sound like a rusting iron door was opened forcibly, but in a much slower way mixed with some whispers that leaked from negative energy that they come from, while each of those shadow’s features started to condense and become clear.

The shadows at the edges of the runes shivered like they were tasting the air for blood, for fear, for dominance. Sierra clenched her fists, fingers grazing the chalk. She whispered the trigger phrase, her voice tight, sharp. A flicker of silver sparked at her fingertips—but it was wilder than usual. The shadows responded instantly, snaking higher, twisting faster than she expected. Her anger, her jealousy, her protectiveness over Malick—it all fed the spell, amplifying it beyond the controlled parameters she’d intended.

You shift to master it.” A growl echoed from one of the younger warriors as he forced himself through the transition. I did not soften.
