It's hard to believe that the rumors are true, but people don't know the half of it. Ambrose is sitting in his usual spot, eating his breakfast absently as I come in. "Morning," I say, taking my seat beside him. He grins at me. "You're feeling better?" "So is your thing," I say gesturing to him. "Is it like a full moon thing? You can only shift under the full moon?" Ambrose laughs and the sound lifts my heart higher. "No. I can shift whenever I choose. The need to shift is stronger with the changes of the moon, but they aren't linked together."

You ready for this? If you call me that one more time, I’ll make this shift take as long as possible. I swear I will. Ha! You’re sassy as hell. You really are my spirit animal. I like you too. And yes, I’m ready. Just relax and let me take control. I cleared my mind, and after a few seconds, it felt like ants were crawling all over my body. It’s just me; stay calm. She moved her face closer to me and clenched her fists. "You believe your brother? Haha, that nutcase. He doesn't know anything about me." "You know, Bella, I've been researching about psychopaths since my parents died. And you know what I found out? They are manipulative and control people in the palm of their hands. But do you know what's more interesting? They kill people who get in their way." She whispered in a harsh voice. I glared at her and smiled. "Yes, that's how psychopaths are. So I advise you to stay away from me. You don't want to end up like the dead girl I saw a while back, do you?" I teased.

Working out six hours a day, every day, and working on an eight-hour shift every night, took it's toll on him very quickly. Ever since a colleague of his suggested enhancers to boost his energy, he was able to add more hours at the gym and more hours on his shifts, and could still hang out at bars afterward. Everyone else was using it, it was common for his line of work. They call it 'the helper', which leads to other kinds of helpers, for every different need. Even actors use them too.

Come straight back. The door opens slowly. Cool night air drifts inside. One step carries me out into the darkness. The yard looks darker than expected. The wolf inside responds without hesitation, sharpening my vision. Shapes begin to form inside the shadows. Trees. Grass. The edge of the woods. Then the moon appears above the clouds. Too late. The reaction hits immediately. Skin ripples. Teeth sharpen. Muscles tighten under my skin. The pull rises fast. Strong. Wild. The urge to shift crashes through me... and there's no stopping it.

The calm guy said. I was still in my previous position. Didn’t move a muscle. I wonder what they are going to do next. The bars open, I could tell from the sound. My eyes were closed but I could still sense two shadows standing in front of me. “I can’t believe we caught him alive. I heard a lot about this guy before and he is a fucking psycho.” The calm guy said and the other one sounded even panic. “Hurry! I don’t want to end up like Eric! It could be that he was awake by now.”

"That sounds nice." "Yea.. I could feel his heartbeat so closely. It was fast. But it calmed me down. I think...that's when I found out I too, had feelings for him." "Oh. You like him?" I chuckled.
