"How dare you block my path, you filthy snake? Time for you to die!" Dunley shot forward and punched the snake right in the head. It was thrown backward, its head exploding in the air. Cassian gasped. He didn't expect Dunley to actually kill a snake with a single punch to the head. That was truly… terrifying. After falling onto the ground with a thud, the snake's body didn't move at all. It was dead. Alas, that wasn't enough to appease Dunley's rage. Back in the swamp, I shook off the memory with my focus snapping back to the present. Serena barely had time to react before the snake struck and its fangs sank into her arm. She cried out in pain as the force of the attack knocked her to the ground.

Sabrina widened her eyes and looked at the soft, greenish thing with black prints in Carol's mom's hand. That was clearly a snake. Carol's mother screamed, shaking her hand and throwing the snake onto the ground, the little snake curled up and fell right on top of her feet. Carol's mother cried out loud, her legs trembled, and she almost peed her pants. "Hee hee hee, ha ha ha. Auntie, you are such a scaredy cat, look at me, look at me."
