~~Edward~~ “Uncle!” Lily screeched, running towards me. Her clothes are almost drenched, stained plus her hair and face covered in white patches. What the hell is going on here. What is this woman doing to my niece. “Lily, what happened” I asked bending to face her “Nothing, Katherine and I are making cookies” she said happily “What? You need to take your bath and change princess” “No!” She pouted “I want to see the cookies”

At a red light, she reached over and traced patterns on my hand. “Do you think we’ll always be like this?” she asked quietly. I didn’t hesitate. “Yes.” She studied my face, searching for doubt. Finding none, she smiled and leaned over to kiss my cheek. When we got back to the penthouse, Aria immediately demanded a full report. “Which cake?” she asked. “Lemon and chocolate,” Lily said proudly. Aiden grimaced. “That sounds weird.” “It’s called balance,” Lily said. I watched her move through the room like she belonged there—like she belonged with us—and something in my chest loosened.

Half an hour later, the pandan-flavored cookies were already being smelled by anyone who passed by the kitchen. Lily smiled as the dull green pukis were put into a container. She planned to bring the gift to her uncle and aunt. Not forget to leave a few pieces at home. "Excuse me, ma'am." A servant walked over. "Jum ordered that Mr. Keenan would like a cheese omelet for breakfast. There are lettuce and tomato slices on the side of the plate. I see, ma'am." "Okay. Thank you." "You're welcome, ma'am."

Seeing his smug expression, Lily felt like making things difficult for him. “Mr. Corden, since you’re so fixed on repaying me… Have you ever heard of the perfume ‘Blossom’? I’m not interested in money or anything else, just this particular perfume. Do you think you could get me one?” Lily asked, smiling slyly. “Blossom?” Mike clarified, worried that he might have misheard her. “Yeah,” Lily nodded. “Since it’s getting late, I’ll be leaving. Goodbye.” She gave him a polite nod and left. Lisa came up behind her, “Lily, wait up! I’m coming with you too!”

I mused. Lily scooped more and more. She had like three spoonfuls before she answered me. "This tastes crazy. Just for a vanilla flavor. I wonder how chocolate would taste of the mix." The plan was to cool off her mind and I was making that happen. The angry expression was replaced with an amused expression.

I mutter. Brye smiles as he hears the nickname. “Yes, it is Lili, cookies are the best when partnered with our favorite drinks” I look up at him and he wiggles his brow at me, making me throw my head back and laugh. “Fine, fine, we’ll bake cookies, let’s buy the ingredients of ‘those’ cookies you want to make,” I tell him. Huge smiles were plastered on their faces while both of them goofed around buying the things they need. His arm never left her shoulder, always pulling her closer. So that was it. That was the missing feeling.

“Nice to meet you too.” “Since I’m meeting you for the first time I got you something.” Lily’s eyes lit up at his words. Ethan brought out an extra pack of chocolate cookies, handing them to Lily. “Your mom told me you love chocolates.” “Thank you, Mr. Ethan,” she beamed. I sighed, unable to fight the small smile tugging at my lips. Lily opened up the cookies eagerly, but I gently tapped her hand. “Ah, ah, young lady. No cookies till you’ve eaten real food first.”

She let the stick fall off and she squashed it with her feet and started off back to Liam's house. ******** Liam sauntered to Lily's room. Lui steps out of her room as he passes. "Can I speak to you?" Lui's voice caused Liam's to halt in his tracks. He inhaled calmly. He still hadn't forgotten it all. He was trying but it would take time. "I made these…" Lui said and stretched forth her hand. Liam's eyes lowered onto her hand. A peach cake. A cake made with peaches, just the right amount of it in addition to other equally great ingredients and flavours.

I said. I could hear the soft crisp laughter from across the phone. "No problem. I'll still tell you anything." An hour later, I had made more lemon crinkle cookies than I expected. Rose, Jasmine and Violet had just gone through a series of nosebleeds almost simultaneously, so I made the cookies to make them feel better. They ate their fill, but there were still two jars left over. Gloria refused to eat more, suggesting I take the rest of the cookies to the packhouse. Well, it wouldn’t hurt to share.

Johanis’ POV Our house smelled like impending doom. Or possibly Lily’s new "training snack" experiment. I opened the front door and immediately staggered backward as a strange smell slapped me in the face. “Is that… is that burnt honey? Why does it smell like so much regret?” Lily appeared from behind the kitchen counter with flour on her nose and what looked like melted gummy worms stuck to her shirt. “It’s combat pudding, Joha.” she declared, rather proudly if I might add.
