I’m past caring. On my way out, I stop by the florist on the corner. The place smells like memory and heartbreak, a riot of color and perfume. I scan the options, fingers hovering over the usual suspects—roses, peonies, chrysanthemums—before settling on the lilies. White, pure, funereal. Perfect. “Can I help you?” the girl behind the counter asks. “I’d like a bouquet of white lilies,” I say, keeping my voice light. “Nothing too cheerful.”

"This is a vanilla chiffon with lavender buttercream. This is a very popular choice for couples looking for something airy and floral.” “Ooh,” I said, my heart fluttering. “That’s me. That’s exactly what I was imagining.” I closed my eyes as I took a bite. Soft. Airy. The lavender wasn’t as harsh as I expected. It just added a floral taste, just the kind of elegance I wanted at my wedding. "I’m not a fan of this flavour. Let’s do something else," Calix deadpanned. Naomi burst out laughing. "I agree with you, dad. Let’s try another flavour."

As if he would ever give any kind of serious thought to any one human for any other reason than sustenance he required from them. "I want to play beer pong, let's go take a number Suze!" Violet was ready to party in every sense of the word and beer pong was one of her favorite ways to get down. She dragged Suzie along towards the keg for a third refill, Suzie was busy searching for Darren, though she would never admit how much she really liked him, or the fact that she put on those stilettos cause she knew he loved them on her. Violet knew just how much he really meant to her though, what kind of friend would she be if she didn't know Suzie's true feelings.

Some supports him but some are very unreasonable. Can ‘she’ tolerate his fans, their love and hate? As usual he got carried away by these questions. He sighed heavily and mumbled "Where are you MY VANILLA?" and drifted to sleep. He didn't know why but he calls his future partner as vanilla. For him, vanilla ice cream is pure as white, smells pleasant, tastes divine, and soft as cloud. He always imagines that his would be wife will be like Vanilla. His favourite Vanilla.

My likeness of her was long gone and I had no idea why. "We have so many flavors available today. We have the Vanilla Flavor, Chocolate Flavor, Strawberry Flavor, Butterscotch Flavor, Cake Batter Flavor, Chocolate Chip Flavor, Coffee Flavor, Rocky Road Flavor,Cookies and Cream Flavor, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Flavor, Black Raspberry Chip flavor, Mint Chocolate Chip Flavor and the Raspberry Ripple." She read from the computer in front of her and then released a sigh when she was done. She looked back up her very well practiced smile gracing her lips yet again.

But when I stop to look around properly, I can see that we are pretty much there. The large mason jars on the counter are now filled with different types of cookies. A couple of the cake stands hold vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with a variety of brightly coloured icings. The remainder of the cake stands hold a lemon and poppy seed, red velvet, double chocolate and Victoria sponge apiece. The large fridge is filled with all manner of goodies; individual lemon meringue tarts sit beside chocolate brownies and treacle tarts and much more.

I pursed my lips, shaking my head lightly with another shrug, “it was a learning experience.” Gavin gives a light sigh of agreement before holding up the tray on dainties. Chocolate chip cookies I can smell from here, some kind of lemon looking squares, and a cupcake that has a piece of sugared strawberry sticking out of the icing. “Oh,” I hold up my hands playfully, “no thank you, the wedding is so close.”

"Belgian chocolate is famous for its flavor. You should try it. These snacks are made with low calories and not overly sweet. Give it a try." Beatrice moistened her lips and took one of the cookies with pink icing on top. One bite, and she fell in love. The desire to be able to make cookies like this arose in Beatrice's heart. "I like it, it's delicious," praised Beatrice with joy. "Can I learn to make these snacks, Grandfather?" "Am I hearing correctly, Leora?" "Why should I be wrong?" Beatrice blinked in confusion. "Why do you want to learn things that others can do?"

“Oh…sure…” Quickly, I open the wheat cookie and take the first bite. The deep nutty and earthy flavor fills my mouth. I think I taste a hint of vanilla in there as well. It’s not my go-to snack, but it’s not bad. “Wow!” I smile, still munching. “It’s delicious and different.” He claps. “Great! He's going to be so happy to hear this.” “I will leave you two to it then.” After bowing slightly, he walks out with his basket of cookies.

Demetrius sighed looking down, but I saw him grin slyly. "Okay, Okay I'll help" I gave up and helped him clean up his mess of cookie dough. Taking off my shoes, I washed my hands and Ben's hands. I preheated the oven to 350° degrees, and I started on the cookie dough. After I creamed the butter, white sugar and brown sugar. I beat in the eggs and then add the vanilla for that rich flavour and smell. I then add the dry ingredients, and lastly some chocolate. Demetrius stood behind Bentley as he helped him mix the dough, which Ben ended up eating.
