Purity Skyler Mason Novels & Stories

"I've spent months training Skyler. Watching him grow from an enforcer struggling with control into a leader who embodies what this pack needs. He's ready." Someone in the back called out, "What about his past instability? The feral behavior?" Skyler stiffened beside me, but Marcus held up a hand. "Valid concern. Skyler went through a dark period five years ago. But he confronted his demons, did the work to heal, and emerged stronger. That struggle makes him a better leader—he understands pain, knows how to overcome it, won't judge others for their own battles." "And the mate?" another voice asked. "She's young. Inexperienced."

The silence drew for such a long moment I thought he didn’t hear me. “Why do you think I’m doing all these? For revenge? Because I love getting beaten and chased every night?” Kudaisi asked. I can feel the tiredness in his voice. “I also want to go get the cure if it truly is real and get this over with, get my life moving. But I am currently responsible for a lot of people. There is Ibrahim, those vampires who helped me escape the clutches of the master, and the future people he would kidnap and turn for his evil deeds. As the strongest vampire around for now I can’t let go of my advantage and strength until I stop the master.”

"Marvin, how can you just quit without a word to me? Do you have any idea how many strings I had to pull to land you this job?" "My grandpa's sick. I've got to quit to look after him." Hannah's grip on my arm was like iron, her voice rising to a screech. "Grandpa's important, sure, but I'm pregnant! If you quit now, who's going to cover all our bills? What about our future kid's expenses? How can you just shirk your responsibilities?" Inside, I was thinking, 'She expects me to support her lover's kid and then calls me irresponsible.'

he said matter-of-factly. "Then where am I?" She mouthed slowly, "and why did you take me?" She tried to ask. "You are at Castle Free Sky. We are nestled on the very northern tip of Free Sky Cliff on the ocean shore of Maine. We are not on any maps or GPS systems as any more than a few coordinates. Built almost completely invisible to anyone who is not looking for it specifically," he told her proudly, most of it was true, anyways.

"You still think Skye's just some regular programmer?" Edward's tone was sharp with disbelief. "She's a top-tier hacker I managed to bring back through old connections! Letting her date you back then was me doing you a favor." Julian froze for several seconds, stunned speechless. When he finally found his voice again, it was full of incredulity. "Her?!" "Yes, her!" Edward barked, his patience gone. "Skye was the best match I could've arranged for you, and look what you've done! You went and got another woman pregnant—what a disgrace!"

Royal asks through the mind link. "Royal, do you require my assistance?" I inquire through our mind link. "I have not been able to get a hold of you for a couple of days now. We have a situation with Mason. He has gone insane since he rejected Skyler and keeps coming with rogues." Royal tells me. “WHAT!” I exclaim to Royal as I suddenly jolt upwards, completely forgetting that Skyler is still on top of me. As a result, she woke up with a moan and began grinding against my knot.

The she-lycan was a strappy one but Skyla persisted. The she-lycan turned her head toward the room and screeched, "Someone come inside! Sasha Ma'am is trying to run away! Someone come inside!!!" Skyla tried her best to get the she-lycan's hand off her arm and said, "Just leave me!" The she-lycan's scream invited another she-lycan. This one was a familiar face for Skyla because it was Chloe, a she-lycan from the day when Skyla was locked inside the cage.

The moment he saw me enter, a faint light stirred in his clouded eyes. I crouched down and grasped his hand firmly. "Dad, I'm here. Let's go home." … The airport entrance was crowded with people. The bustling atmosphere seemed to lift my father's spirits as he sat in his wheelchair. He suddenly took my hand in his, his emotions running high. "Jack… about the birthmark on you… you're actually Wright Group's–" I leaned forward, straining to catch his words. "Jacob Schwarz!" Charlotte's icy voice interrupted our conversation.
