Black Rose

Black Rose

Chapter Seven: A BREACH IN SECURITY Rojean opened her eyes, her hands shielding them from the glare of the light from the window which curtains were opened. Her phone kept buzzing that caused her to wake up from her slumber. It didn’t bother her as she didn’t really have the time at the moment to go over any thought process but once she took a peek at her phone and Krister was constantly sending her messages, she sat up and breathed out. She realised that it was a quarter and a half past 7 and that it was too early to be dealing with Krister’s business but nevertheless she called him up to know what was going on.

The Billionaire's Proxy Bride

The Billionaire's Proxy Bride

The world around them had quieted — the chatter of distant parkgoers faded, replaced by the soft rustle of leaves and the occasional chirp of a bird. As Damon started walking toward the bike, Lena’s eyes caught a patch of color near a flowerbed. She slowed, stepping off the path. Hibiscuses — vivid, red, open like small suns in the grass. She crouched, her fingertips brushing against one of the petals, soft and dewy. Without really thinking, she reached for a stem and plucked a small cluster, wrapping them gently in a napkin from her bag.

La Arma's Heir

La Arma's Heir

Before opening the book, I looked around. I smiled. "Ali seems to miss the plants too." I snorted and leaned back in the chair. Later, I shook my head. "What is that, Rain! Why are you thinking about Ali?" I smiled when I saw a new spring flower. I took the cell phone and immediately took a picture. As far as I know, this is the Hibiscus flower or better known as Gumamela. The color of the petals is red. I immediately posted it on my social media account. I walked again to take some more pictures.

Brown

he raised his hand in surrender "but how can I see the title if your of your book if you're in there on your bed and far away from the window?" "I'm only human you know, and there is only a limited distance at which I can read" he says as a smirk remained on his face "Oh right" I muttered making my way to my large window and showing him the book. 'Purple Hibiscus by Buchi Emecheta' My all time favourite even though this was like my fifteenth time reading it again and yes I love it THAT much. "I love your top" he said casually while folding his arms and placing them on the window frame. I felt my gave going up in flames and I thanked mother nature I wasn't some shades lighter, cause if I was,

Curse Of Wine & Belladonna

Curse Of Wine & Belladonna

"Then the moon's mourning ended, the snow began to melt, feeding the soil and giving strength so that new lives could grow there. It didn't take long for the beautiful purple hyacinths to be born, leaving a beautiful lilac sea before the small temple of Hyacinth." "It also didn't take long for a woman thin as a stick and with long black hair to approach the temple. Along her hair were flowers so purple that they almost mixed with that cascade of darkness, the woman's clothes were rag gold, she was almost naked walking towards the temple. When Hyacinth looked into this woman's eyes, she could see that it was Hellebore who was walking towards her.

Revenge of the Betrayed: The Domineering Duke Falls for Me

Revenge of the Betrayed: The Domineering Duke Falls for Me

… If I don’t go, won’t it seem like I’m cold and indifferent? Miranda quickly put on a worried face. “Your Majesty, it’s only a few bruises. I’ll come with you—I must see what happened myself.” Not to mention, she very much wanted to know just what exactly the Queen Dowager was plotting, and what was really unfolding at the gazebo. *** The gazebo stood amidst clusters of hibiscus plants, which, in full bloom, would erupt in a cascade of crimson and gold, like burning clouds of silk. But now, in the early season, only a few buds peeked shyly from the leaves, barely releasing their scent.

Tuberose

Tuberose

Pattinson is, indeed, Tuberose. Applause fills the air as Abigail takes the stage, her presence commanding attention. She approaches the microphone, and the crowd falls silent. "I am overwhelmed by your love, and I am none other than Tuberose," she begins, her voice steady, "the author of 'Fragrance of Love.' I hope my readers are as pleased with the sequel as they were with the first installment. Your love is a testament to your joy with the book, and I am deeply grateful. To show my appreciation, I decided to come before you all to share this moment together."

Jane Chunli
Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

You Can Ask The Flowers

You Can Ask The Flowers

Sarah Whitmore found Iris collapsed on the greenhouse floor just after sunrise, surrounded by wilting plants and scattered journals, her face streaked with tears and exhaustion. The sight that greeted her was both heartbreaking and terrifying: a woman driven to the edge of sanity by forces beyond normal human comprehension, clutching a dying flower while whispering desperate pleas to botanical specimens that seemed to whisper back.

Habibi: An Unexpected Love

Isabella ―But before he takes her with him, do you have all your documents with you?" the woman asked. I nodded and took them out of my portfolio-style bag, handing them to her. As she reviewed them, I looked around the place. Ever since I entered through the elevator doors, the atmosphere felt cold. I could still feel it beneath my suit jacket. “Were they trying to keep it warm?” I thought sarcastically. It was fall, but it felt like a minimalist freezer decked out with quirky paintings.

The Dark Rose

Paul continues, seemingly horrified by the thought of taking me to this king. “I— I don’t want to go. Can’t we—“ “No.” Paul looks wholly defeated. “I’m sorry but we have no choice. So we’re going on a trip.” “Where is this place?” I ask. “The invizibil isles. A small group of islands that humans aren’t aware of. It’s basically a hidden society filled with vampires.” Felix responds and he looks annoyed at having to take me to this place just as much as Paul. I swallow nervously. “When do we leave?”
