Pada tahun 1998 disebuah desa terdapat satu keluarga yang hidup pas-pasan namun terbelit dengan hutang yang sangat banyak. Saat itu pak ilham selaku kepala keluarga sangat pusing bagaimana mencari uang untuk membayar hutang-hutangnya kepada rentenir. Pak ilham tertarik akan hal itu dan pak ilham mencoba untuk memanggil hantu itu namun tidak semudah yang ia pikirkan. Pak ilham terus mencoba memanggil hantu itu sampai akhirnya ia bertemu dengan sosok itu dan memulai perjanjian dengan mengorbankan nyawanya dan juga nyawa anaknya yang bernama lidya saat berusia 17 tahun nanti. Pak ilham menyetujuinya tetapi tak lama pak ilham dan keluarga tengah merasakan kebahagiaan dengan uang itu, pak ilham pun mati karena hantu itu menagih janjinya. Beberapa tahun setelah insiden itu tepat di tahun 2007 rumor mister gepeng kembali beredar bersama dengan kejadian-kejadian aneh yang menimpa salah satu siswi di salah satu sekolah. Siswi itu bernama lidya. Dia sering mengalami kejadian aneh hingga dijauhi oleh teman-temannya. Hingga saat dimana dia diberi tantangan oleh sekelompok teman sekelasnya yang bernama adine, alex, vino dan tamara untuk memanggil mister gepeng di toilet sekolahnya.
