Queen Jada Facesit Novels & Stories

And with everything she knows, that’s a huge no-no. When the man was about to say something, the door of her unit flew open. It was Ada. Jada immediately stood up to welcome him, as if she saw her savior. But it was indeed just that, as if. "Jadanela Cuevas I'm talking to you!" Kobe said through gritted teeth. "Woah! That’s intense!" Ada butted in but Kobe just glared at him. Jada walked back to the counter slowly and sat down on the stool. Pouting her lips, she turned to Kobe, “You scared me Kobekins, I thought it was my father who spoke,” she tried to joke, but again, it was ineffective.

She knew she had to prove her virtue, no matter what it took. "So let me get this straight. I am trying to destroy Chase, but I would go about kissing Leon in public and be careless enough to allow the paparazzi to take our picture and then play dumb in front of Chase. What do you think I would gain from all of this by telling the whore world that am a whore because this is what this entire situation is proving. That I am a liar, a cheater, and a whore. Is that what you think I want for myself, Jacob? To see me fall and be destroyed?" Jada's voice was filled with anger and frustration.

Jade's face softened but her voice remained angry. Shawn shook his head. "He came here for me. I hate to think what he could have done to you if your bodyguard didn't show up. I put you at risk." Jade turned to face him. Her anger had dissipated and her voice had softened. "You didn't. I was already at risk from the day I was born. And if there's one thing I can handle, it's a risk. So don't beat yourself up." She frowned, not liking how girly her voice sounded.

Her dark hair cascaded over one shoulder, and her crimson lips curved into a smile that was both charming and dangerous. I stiffened as I averted my gaze lightly, and Ava noticed instantly. “Is that…?” Ava began, her voice calm but edged with curiosity. “Yes,” James said curtly, his gaze locked on Jada. Jada moved through the crowd with practiced ease, her magnetic presence drawing attention as she made her way toward us. I had hoped, perhaps foolishly, that their last encounter at the Valquez Country Club would be the end of it. But Jada wasn’t the type to walk away quietly.

My fear was for the other soldiers who stood behind her, watching what she was doing with shock in their eyes. Resha broke through the line and stepped forward. "With all due respect, your father, our Alpha, will frown at this reunion. We should take the crown from her and leave this cursed dry land!" She boomed, her chest vibrating with the intensity of her words. Before either Ariel or I could react, Jada jumped to her feet and she menacingly stood tall in front of Resha. "Watch your tongue, you are in the presence of royalty!" She hissed, baring her teeth to Resha. "Who are you to contradict the goddess's wishes?"

I am utterly in awe of the beautiful creature in front of me. “Our mate.” Rohan mutters dreamily. “Our queen.” I agree.

Regal. My breath caught. She looked exactly like me. The same silver eyes. The same face. The same hair. My hands trembled. I stepped closer. At the bottom of the portrait, a golden plaque displayed her name. Queen Lyra Nightshade. The First Queen. The legendary ruler mentioned in the prophecy. My heart nearly stopped. This wasn't possible. I stared at the portrait. Then at my reflection in the glass. Then back at the portrait. The resemblance was undeniable. A cold shiver ran down my spine.

A woman who was the reason we were here. The youngest of the elders, Zara, a handsome woman in her fifties with barely a wrinkle on her face, could be due to plastic surgeries which she had used to enhance herself, stood to her feet. She smoothed her impeccable suit jacket before pinning me with her stare, "Alpha," she bowed, and I nodded to acknowledge her. "The energy we felt that day came from this strange woman," She murmured, looking at me to see if I was following what she was saying.
