“Noted,” he said a little strained, a few things, no doubt clicking together in his overly observant mind.
“So your magic has a mind of its own?” he asked, his smooth forehead wrinkling into lines of confusion, behind his dark brown hair that had fallen forward over his brow, as he scrunched his face in contemplation.
