Tears stung my eyes as I gripped the side of the toilet bowl, my breathing ragged.
God.
I hated this feeling.
It wasn’t just the sickness. It was the way my body reacted whenever my emotions spiraled too far out of control. Stress, anger, heartbreak. They always found a way to punish me physically.
When the nausea finally eased, I sat there for a moment, weak and shaking.
“All these emotional roller coasters,” I muttered under my breath.
