Elias raised his arm covered in steel to support it. Unexpectedly, one jumped behind Lily, it opened its mouth full of long, pointed fangs, drooling at Lily. She screamed in despair, reaching out her right hand towards the beast. Suddenly, a beam of light from the red crescent-shaped birthmark in the center of Lily's right palm hit the beast. Both animals were immediately drawn to the roadside stand of two stone statues. Neither Lily nor Elias understood what was happening. Lily's body seemed to exude that power, so she lost her strength and fainted. Elias whirled around, taking her in his big palm.

The other truck, the cage is full of wombats and all types of rare rats. Then in the sacks that Rosa had seen at first sight is filled with sugar glider and other types of lizards. “Stop looking around” Samuel said after he had stopped at one place. They are not far from the truck, Rosa still could see what they were doing. Doesn’t want to make it worst, she obediently looks at Samuel. She frowns after she saw Samuel's eyes were looking at her with bad intention. “Are you not afraid?” He asks when he saw Rosa shows him a disgusted face.

I ask, needing a confirmation of what I already know. "You already know Sarrtina. There's Zacharie and Hasiah and they are just as dangerous as Sarrtina, if not more. Then there's Achilles." "She's the blonde?" "Yes." Zaralina says. "What makes her truly evil and vicious is the world of pain which has created so much darkness inside of her." For some reason I want to know more about this Achilles. When I saw her in my dream I felt like I knew her from somewhere, her eyes were oddly familiar. But it could be because all these nonhuman eyes look very similar.

They weren’t random rogues out for an easy meal – they had small cuts on the left side of their ears… they were known as “The Crawler”.

Eve and I were together. We couldn’t see June and Max.

"Mommy, Daddy and I picked her out together! I named her Sera. Do you like her?" I looked down. Inside the iron cage, the rabbit was huddled tight. Its fur was pure white, but its eyes were bottomless pits of black. "Pet her, Mommy. Sera is such a sweet girl." I forced a smile and reached out my hand. The next second, the rabbit lunged, sinking its incisors deep into my fingertip. A sharp pain shot through my hand. Golden Elven blood instantly welled up, and the rabbit began to lap it up greedily.

That would end the fun. “I’ve got a surprise for you.” I tittered, unhooking the small container I’d brought along from my belt. The plastic lid, perforated with holes, popped right open. A single hairy leg stepped out, followed by eight others. Malik’s favored tarantula stepped onto my hand, and I grinned down at the little thing. “Her name is Rosie, but I call her sassy pants because she enjoys biting werewolves a little too much.” Harriet’s eyes went wide, shimmering with the deepest, most pure sort of fear. My abilities had been right after all.

Her voice rang loudly across the lakeside. Standing near the water was an enormous white rabbit, far larger than any ordinary rabbit but Elena knew immediately who it was. "Lecy!" She knew that rabbit, even though it had grown much bigger than before. The giant rabbit didn't run away, but the other rabbits nearby immediately scattered and disappeared into the distance but Lecy stayed, sitting calmly near the lakeshore beneath the trees watching Elena closely, as though he had been waiting for her. "Lecy..." Elena ran straight toward him then wrapped her arms around his fluffy body... The rabbit was so large now that he was nearly her size — His fur was unbelievably soft.

Gregory found himself in the dream realm to his annoyance. Looking around himself to make sure he was not in any danger Gregory noticed a small rabbit nearby. An animal even this weak could be a shifter or other creature which could be far more dangerous. It was not unheard of for certain spirits to hide in plain sight like this and then lure a predator in only to suddenly attack and drain the very life force from the predator. Growling he stands his ground, “What do you want rabbit? You are in Black River Territory.”
