A wild rabbit darted out, and Kiran instinctively raised his hand. With a thud, the rabbit was hit by a silver needle and fell to the ground. Kiran picked up the rabbit and threw it into the cave.

The warmth poured into the rabbit’s side, and I felt the strangest thing, the wound knitting closed beneath my fingers, the blood seeming to pull back into the body instead of spilling out. My eyes snapped open. The cut was gone, smooth fur covered what had been torn flesh. The rabbit twitched once, then went moved peaceful, no longer in pain. I sagged forward, trembling, nearly collapsing against the cage. My hands glowed green for one more second before dimming out. The witch crouched beside me, her face unreadable. Then she nodded. “Good, You see? It listens when you command it.” I was shaking too hard to answer.

The rabbit anxiously asked her as she pulled her ears down making a total cute image in front of the viewer. Hellion blinked her eyes and said. “ Can I touch those?” She pointed her finger on her ears expectantly. The rabbit shook her head and drilled herself on the wall. Hellion retracted her arm, disappointed. Xegris then appeared behind him and glanced at the trembling rabbit lady. He raised his brows at Hellion and then pulled his attention towards the innkeeper. “We’d like to check out.” He said with a smile.
