************ Raelynn’s POV My bed was dappled with a mosaic of light and shadow as the first rays of dawn filtered through the window of my room. I got to my feet and stretched languidly, my heart pounding joyfully in my chest. I have a spring in my step as I go about my everyday business. I have this sweet feeling that today is gonna be a good day. Dressed and ready to head out, I give myself a final appraisal in front of the mirror. My skin looks radiant, I decided to let my hair cascade down my shoulders instead of my usual messy bun or ponytail and I must say, I rock.

"It's probably just something I ate," she said to me, flashing me a tight smile. Raelynn leaned into me as I pulled her into my embrace.
